Robust and reliable - total control of each feed.
I'm allergic to gadgets and plastic rubbish, and binned my last auto-feeder (it was one of those rotating big drum things with all the food in one dispenser). I like to buy stuff made in UK or EU or US. However I took a punt and I bought 2 of these Petbank ones a year ago and they are impressive. You dose each feed in a separate hopper, so you know exactly how much each feed will be. They are robust and well designed - no damp food, and electronics that work. A nice solid feel when using and positioning the feeder. You do need to get creative to leave a gap in cover glasses where the feeders outdoor is positioned on the bottom of the feeder (strategically placed plastic document wallets do the trick!). I would recommend these. If youve got big fish, youll struggle to get many large pellets or tablets in each hopper.

Vacation Made Simple with the Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder.
I recently picked up the Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder when my family and I went away on holiday, and I have to say, it was a lifesaver for keeping our fish fed without needing to rope in a neighbor. Setting it up was a breeze - it took just a few minutes to figure out the timer and get it mounted on the tank. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need to fiddle with it much to get it running. We were gone for four days, and it worked really well overall. The feeder dispensed food right on schedule (although I wasn't there to see), which gave us peace of mind while we were away. One thing, though: the manual says not to use flake food, only pellets, but we went ahead and loaded it with flakes anyway since that’s what our fish usually eat. Most of the flakes came out fine, though a few did get stuck in the mechanism. It wasn’t a big deal - just a little clogging here and there - but I can see why they recommend pellets for smoother operation. All in all, it’s a solid little gadget. It did exactly what we needed it to do, and our fish were happy and swimming when we got back. I’d definitely use it again for our next trip!

Great feeder
Spent ages researching the right feeder for my tank. I wanted to feed 2 separate foods to my fish, Algae wafers and some micro pellets. This feeder fitted my requirements. After i charged it up (5 hrs as recommended by the manufacturer) even though it was fully charged after 3 hrs i left it a full 5 hrs as stated in instructions. It is very easy to programme and i filled the compartments with the food. I didn't use the attached bracket as my tank has a glass lipped lid which the feeder sat on nicely. The actions of the feeder are extremely quiet and it’s been on my tank now for approx. 7 days. All good so far. ive had no condensation issues inside at all and it’s been seamless in its actions. The battery is still showing full (approx 1-2 months it should last) The only thing i have noticed is that on the bottom of the feeder there was some condensation settling on the outside case, but this has not got inside the feeder and all the food is nice and dry. To alleviate this i have raised the feeder up by approx 2 inches so that should definitely help with any condensation forming on the bottom of the case. Please note this feeder is not recommended for flake food. I would definitely recommend this feeder Im about to go on a nice holiday and this has put my mind at rest that my fish will be fed whilst im away....update. This has been in use now for a month continuously and I have raised it up approx 1 inch as I mentioned earlier. Had not had any condensation at all and the battery still showing full. I feed my fish once a day. Thus is a game changer for sure. Hope this helps you all 😉

Stopped working after 3 days.
Never normally write reviews, even though I have essentially just paid for Bezos's wedding with all my purchases over the years. Don't trust this as the only way to feed your fish if you are away. This is the second one I have bought and had fail. Thankfully this time I had someone coming in to check on it as the last one failed too.It seemed to absorb some water and just stopped working after about 3 days my friend says.Big warning if you care for your fish.

Perfect for feeding whilst on a 2 week holiday!
I recently went on holiday for a fortnight, and used this feeder to feed my two fancy goldfish whilst I was gone. I had no one to look after the fish whilst I was away and was very anxious that this would work. I tested it a few weeks before I left and it worked a treat. The battery life is excellent. I noticed that the battery bar went down one bar in around 3 weeks which impressive. You can set it to feed 1-3 times per day at whatever times you want. It is simple to operate. The food also stays dry. I used an array of pellets and nothing got wet or stuck. The feeder is clamped on to the side of the tank but be sure not to clamp too hard as it may leave a an impression as it did with mine, but other than that I would say this is money well spent and I will be able to go away worry free in future.

Fantastic product so far, bought as a replacement to my 'mechanical' Pet Mate
I've had mine for 9 months and as far as I know it's been working fine.....Until this week.I came to fill it up and it wasn't nearly empty and that's when I realised there was no battery life left. I dug out the instructions to work out how to change the battery and found it was rechargeable!!!! I'd totally forgotten. So the first charge had lasted 9 months, yep you read that right.I have a tank of assorted Tetra and Barbs and found feeding every 2 days worked best, so that probably is part the reason why it lasted 9 months. I fill up the feeder once a month and life is great.Moisture does gather around the door so keep it clean. Also had an issue finding food suitable. You can't use flakes, but the granules or micro sticks etc sink fast and they are too big/hard for the fish to eat before they end up on the bottom. It's not clear if they subsequently hoover those up, but it is not great either way. So I ended up using Tetra Pro multi-crisps which seem a suitable compromise. Its been great so far, I cannot fault it
