My boyfriend and I decided to foster a pug this summer after our local pug rescue (DFW Pug Rescue) had a massive influx of piggies come in from North Texas. The little girl we got paired with was ROUGH looking when I picked her up from the kennel. One of her eyes looked like she ran into the corner of something and gouged a little bit out, her nipples sagged to the ground and her two back legs made it seem like she had been sitting or lying down her whole life. It seemed like she was a breeder for some puppy mill, but that's just me making an assumption. I can't imagine anyone who actually loves their animal letting them get in this condition. And then just surrender them to a rescue!!At first Lagi (we didn't change Lady Lag's name, pronounce log-ee) had a hard time getting around when we took her on walks. It was like she'd never been on a leash or taken on a walk before. Over the next few weeks with us she became much more active. Her stomach started getting tighter and she started to LOVE going on walks!!Well after a month or two we decided we couldn't let anyone else have her! Lagi is amazing and I can't remember what it was like in our apartment before we had her!When we finally adopted her we took her to the vet for a full-body check and found out she has some condition that caused her kneecaps to shift to the sides of her legs instead of being in front like they're supposed to be. Our vet suggested glucosamine tablets and I started researching.This stuff is amazing. I think it's a combination of the supplements and her becoming more active with us but she's back to the prime of her life! These are all-natural, so I don't feel like I'm putting my dog on prescription medicine that could have negative effects in the future. It covers so many bases and takes care of lots of our little lady's needs. There are so many benefits to this supplement it's unbelievable!Before giving her these supplements Lagi would turn around and head home when we tried to take her on long walks with our other pug, Charlotte. Last week she walked with us for at least a mile and was perfectly fine!!! She always tried to jump on the couch when she got really excited, and now she's making it every 1/20 attempts! Hahaha I know that's not a lot, but her legs are seriously messed up y'all.We do have to put peanut butter on her supplement every morning or she won't bother eating it.I'm very grateful for this product. It's really nice knowing she's not in constant pain due to a lack of cartilage and the way her kneecaps are. My almost 14 year old poodle mix has pancreatitis and it’s hard to find stuff he can use. I put this in plain Greek yogurt every day and he loves it. I have been using this product for a few years now, and he still runs around like a puppy. in fact, my brother got a Pomeranian puppy and we would get our dogs together to play and the puppy would tire out before my then 12-year-old dog, and that is still how it is to this day. For some reason, I just forgot about giving him this product, and it got tucked away into a cupboard and my dog started losing weight and losing energy and just not feeling good and having issues with his pancreatitis again. I got him back on this product and he’s gaining weight again and feeling great and no problems with his pancreatitis for months now. I had an old cat couple years ago that was having problems with her front legs and I started giving this to her also and in just a couple weeks she was doing really good with her walking without problems. This product is excellent and I highly recommend it and I will always use it for all my animals. This company is also great to work with, I had a mailman, leave our boxes open and somebody stole all the packages which had this product in it and the company was only too happy to send me another container at no extra cost for something that was not their fault.

Having stipulated that, why would I want to give my dog, free or otherwise, something I don't think he'd benefit from? Buck, my 7 year old 105 lb. Great Pyrenees has been slowing down of late. Sometimes his gait is slow, sometimes a bit labored, and he doesn't get to all fours as easily as he once did. I decided to become pro-active and change a few things. I've always given him top of the line kibble, but supermarket treats. The treats had to go, especially after carefully reading the ingredients. I was undoing all the good I was doing with these less than nutritious dog treats. So I substituted with a healthier treat and started him on Infinite Glucosomine and Chondrotin, after having done some research on the various brands. I have to say that within a week's time, he seemed to have a bit more spring in his step. I was truly surprised but obviously happy for him, and myself as well. Look, his gait is still slower than it was when he was 3, but that is to be expected. His walking no longer seems labored and he is doing his "happy dance" more frequently now. I have to believe that he had some inflammation and that it has been somewhat reduced. Your results may not be the same, and I realize this is purely anecdotal, but I like this product! My 2 cents.
