Great for my son
This item my swadeshi loving parents got for my son. He is in class 5 learning about wind energy. He loved this. It's easy to set up and great entertainment for a long long time. The material for the windmill is of the best quality. And very little plastic otherwise is used for packaging. Instructions are in simple easy to understand clean and clear manual, such that is doesn't overwhelm the child . Or isn't oversimplified unnecessarily.Basic concepts are very well explained.Totally loved the product

Good working product for the money
We bought this item (working windmill) to be added with another similar product (working solar powerplant) as part of a larger project. The product works well though we had to make a few minor modifications to let this unit be fixed on to the platform well.Recommended for kids. It will be a fun project for them.

An awesome product
Seen the best product so far for kids, that also by a Startup,Made in India.I recommend all the parents to procure this for increasing the knowledge of the kids. Very easy to understand and play.

Good for project, but several flaws in design.
Item concept is good. Quality of materials is excellent. But the design is faulty... The mechanism for transferring circular motion from flywheel to dynamo depends on a rubber band. This band is always slipping off and is much too tight to the extent that it is almost pulling down the whole dynamo setup from its platform. The little bit of sticky paper tape for lodging the dynamo on the platform is quite inadequate for the task. Secondly, the "windmill" is too small to actually catch enough wind to move on its own. Lastly, the windmill propeller shaft is too short and the wings of the windmill are always getting entangled in the rubber band which drives the dynamo. I think the manufacturer needs to take a fresh look at these design points.

The quality of the Kit is very very poor.
The concept is excellent but the quality of the Kit is very very poor. The pulleys are very small and the rubber band is slipping for half turn of the motor. The poles are very thin and not firm. They are swinging like anything. My kid was very much embarassed when she has to demostrate the concept. The quality should be imprved like anything.
