Impressive
The quality, wow! The materials they use are amazing! The fit and finish is also stunning. It is designed beautifully and it is hard not to look at in awe. The engineering is also fantastic. Everything works so well it is just satisfying to use and operate! When loosening the collar for the telescoping section, as you start to loosen it, it kind of binds or catches. A little more force and it comes loose and is no problem to work. Now this might be a part of the design and it needs to or is supposed to do this. I have not dissected it to much to find out. However in no way does it hinder the operation of the beautiful tool. I am just being nit picky. Or OCD. It is a wonderful device. I might have purchased one of the others due to my height and small space requirements had I to do over again, but this tripod is in no way inferior or anything less then 110% perfect! Thank you iFootage! I love this tripod! so sturdy and solid yet light and rugged! Amazing!

This has been a very satisfying purchase. I have a smile on my face!
I have many high end Miller and Vinten heads and legs. I needed another set of legs for a large multi-cam video shoot and stumbled on these from a review by Gerald Undone. Quality tooling! Lightweight! Sturdy! I have 2 of the Miller Solo VJ carbon fiber legs ($1,100.00 each) that i have always loved and although these are not as heavy duty they are still built excellent but for a 20lb load. i appreciate that it included the half-ball as i have a few heads i plan to use on it that will screw on the half-ball. Comes with a nice carry case. I'm a happy camper!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Excellent mix of lightweight and stability
I'm extremely happy with the quality of this tripod. It's lightweight enough to use as a travel tripod, yet sturdy enough to use as a day-to-day workhorse. If you have an exceptionally heavy setup, this may not be sufficient for your needs. I am easily able to keep a Nikon D7200 and 70-200 f2.8 lens stable.I find that the floating column design with the bubble level makes setting up a piece of cake. Set the legs where they're stable, unlock the floating column and level it...done. The various locking levers for the legs, column, etc... are very easy to unlock, yet absolutely rock solid in place when in the locked position. The leg positioning system coupled with the ability to either reverse or remove the center column makes this an extraordinarily flexible piece of kit and well worth the money.

Best Tripod I've Owned
This tripod is just great! It's very sturdy, easy to use and has a couple of design features that I'm sure other brands will copy. First off, it's really sturdy, especially for a tripod without a spreader. I've used this in many different scenarios, and it works great for its size and weight. The leg clamps are easy to adjust and aren't noisy. They slide in better than any other tripod I've used apart from the super high-end Sachtler. The best part of this tripod is the swivel top mount that allows you to level any tripod head without adjusting the legs.I highly recommend this tripod over anything near its price range, especially the Manfrotto and Benro brands.

A great carbon fiber tripod
I bought both the TC-7 61" and the TC5 as I wasn't sure which one I would like. The TC-7 is really, really large! in fact to large for my type of work. The TC5 is very stable and easy to handle. Plus it can fold up compact enough to fit in my suit case for travel. Over the years I have used aluminum Bogens, Manfrotto and most recently a Fiesol CF tripod and these IFootage carbon fiber ones are superior. Time will tell how long they last, so far very happy with my purchase.

I love this tripod
This tripod is a real deal. lightweight yet very strong and stable. Setup is fast and sure and the storage bag is large enough that you don't have to struggle to put the tripod back in the bag. I highly recommend this tripod.

Solid tripod, but...
I actually bought this thing unlike the dozens of YouTubers that advertised this to me. Here's what I think. What I like:Is tall but collapses reasonably short.Smooth leg extensions.BIG tabs/adjustment flaps on everything.Leveling feature works well (this is why I bought it)Easy to remove center shaft to flipBig hook at bottom of center shaft.Spike to Rubber is easy to convert.Comes with TOO nice a bag...kinda wish they just took $$ off the tripod cost. What I don't like:Price is high I feel for the qualityNot noticeably lighter than my aluminum Manfrotto 055XPROB (5.66lbs vs 4.44lbs, you can't feel the difference)The shaft extension tensioners don't feel sturdy, but maybe they are (this is what I am most worried about)It picks up vibrations more than my 055XPROBIt makes more noise than my 055XPROB when tapped or bumpedConcerned about the orings for shock absorption getting worn out and falling offI don't like all the flashy red accents and super heavy iFootage branding...makes it look like a 50 dollar tripod not a 300 dollar tripod...iFootage PLEASE change this for your next run--think about your brand image!Overall:I learned my lesson; just because it's carbon fiber doesn't mean it's better than aluminum. Quality is what matters not material. This tripod is fine, but I recommend checking out tripods in a camera store once you hit a certain price point to be sure it is what you want. Also shame on all the sellout YouTubers promoting this stuff like they paid for it...although the other products I bought from iFootage like the K5 head and the Seastars are awesome, definitely 5 stars. :)

Brilliant!!! Best tripod I’ve had
Had a manfrotto before this that had clasp locks also as I prefer those to twist locks. Because the manfrotto clasps are made of plastic they are now a little worn and clip open easily (not good if that happens and your equipment falls). Before that happens I scouted around and could find a bad review on this tripod. The fast bowl is a major player for panos and is simple to use. The whole head can come off easily so it can fit in a suitcase also. The legs are easily retractable and the clasps are strongly made from metal and are miles better than my previous manfrotto. The only bad design I had read was that some heads covered the spirit level on the tripod plate. There are two ways around this. There are plates you can buy to counter this with a litttle spirit level. However I can confirm that a perfectly matched ball head is the Leo foto LH-40 ballhead as it just leaves enough room to see the spirit level so no need for any alterations. Another good feature of this tripod is the screw runner feet. You screw them up to reveal spikes or screw them down for runner feet concealing the spikes (ingenious). But to sum up, this is by far the best tripod I have ever bought. It has everything and everything is done well. I expect to have it for a very long time. It’s going to Iceland with me shortly where it will get a thorough testing.

Amazing tripod with absolute sturdiness!!!
Just got my hands on it and couldn’t wait to give a 5 star and a brief review. First, this thing is heavy compare to what’s considered a travel tripod. It is tall enough, I’m 180, with legs fully extended and a ball head installed, camera view finder is beyond my eye level. The tripod pairs perfectly with the SkyWatcher Star Adventurer, and I believe it will be perfect for other small mount too, eg iOptron SkyGuider Pro etc. The whole setup as the picture shows is super sturdy, if I used a smaller tripod for the mount, even a slightest touch would wobble for seconds. With this tripod the whole thing just doesn’t seem to move a bit. Excellent quality and value. If you are looking for the same thing as described, just go for it without any hesitation.

Best tripod I own.
I have wanted one of these tripods ever since I saw Thomas Heaton using one. Sturdy, light weight, and excellent quality. The ball head is an absolute game changer.
