Sharp little folder
I like this little folding knife. I tend to prefer larger knives, but on those occasions where I'm in the mood for a smallish knife, this certainly satisfies that inclination. It easily works as a gentleman's knife. The CUDA mini knife itself has been around for several years, with a few variations in deployment and blade steel. This iteration has settled on several good qualities. The steel is the Japanese AUS8 (56 HRC) with a Black Carbonitride Titanium coating, handle is G10, and the action is via a novel "Quick Launch Bearing System." The knife comes in a blister pack (be sure to hang onto it for any manufacturer warranty returns). It was sharp out of the package, with smooth action, solid liner lockup, and no handle hotspots. Some other brief stats:• Overall Length: 6.75"• Blade Length: 3" (also advertised more accurately as 2.95")• Blade Grind: Hollow• Blade Style: Drop Point (or rather: spear point), with faux-edge swedge on top• Pocket Clip (tip-down only)• Handle : Brown G10• Hand Orientation: Right hand• Lock Style: Liner lock• Weight: 2.8 oz. (on my digital scale)• Lifetime WarrantyAt this time, the knife comes in two other G10 colors, black and green. (Also available from Camillus is a camo-colored version in a glass-filled nylon handle material that Camillus calls "Prym1." Same knife (except the blade material on the Camo Prym1 is 420 stainless steel, not AUS-8.) The novel "Quick Launch" works well, although it might take a few tries to get the action smooth and comfortable. This is not a knife for lefties, since the "Quick Launch" favors the right hand and the tip-down-only pocket clip is on the reverse side. However, the size, action, and build quality all work together to make this a clever and useful pocket knife.

Decent for price
Nice knife for the price, stiff at first but breaks in quickly. Sharp out the box.

Love hate relationship
So I always take apart knives when I get them to see what theyre made of and I consider myself pretty novice but I know a bit. I really want to like this knife but it has some shortfalls.Bad stuff:Screws are brittile, only good ones are on the pocket clip. I ended up stripping the bottom one and just replacing all of them from a different knife. The ball bearings are smaller than most knives and one of the ball bearings came with black sticky stuff on it. (Thats why everyone says it sticks at first)Not very ergonomic, thick knife that feels exactly how it looks (brick) and thin liners for such a thick knife.Knife didnt come very sharp, instructions mention sharpening at an angle of like 17-23 but the knife came with like a 30 degree angle or bigger! I ended up resharpening at like 27-30..Didnt lock up very well until I bent the liner a bit to get it near the middle of knife like its suppose to.Color incorrect, definately not coyote brown, more like melted milk chocolate. I know g10 dyeing is tricky but it looks light and funny.Good stuff:Fun pivot design to flick once it loosens up.Good lockup after altering it and has little to no blade play since the beginning so they got that right.I dont mind that its not a solid black blade. I like its Nice spear-ish shape and "blued steel" blade color (probably because of the titanium bonding which is also a plus)Cool deep carry pocket clip, just wish it can be switched to tip-up carry but it works.Overall:After finnicking with the knife a bit I think itd make a decent toolbox knife or something I wouldnt worry about abusing because of the lockup and bonding. For the regular price id buy something else, but its worth the sale price right now (18$). They definately couldve designed this better for what theyre asking for it. It should come ready to go from the factory and mine was lacking.

Garbage
Garbage build. The bearing went loose. And the screws had to be lock tited from regular light use. And the blade broke. It’s just weak trash.
