Aesthetically pleasing tap, however the downside is the practicality. When you finish washing your hands, you bring up your hand to turn off the lever and it leaves water droplets on the top of the spout and sit there. Therefore you have to clean the top of the spout of the tap each time if you want it to look great. Often great looking design doesn't meet practicality! Nevertheless, I love the tap. I needed the tap in a hurry. Suppliers in my country all said delivery would be 4-6 weeks. So I searched on Amazon instead and purchased the Hansgrohe Puravida Single Mixer at a far lower price and received the tap within 3 working days. Fantastic service and would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderfully tap to look at and use for the first few years and probably for much longer if you do not have hard water. However if you have hard water - beware as you may have the same problem I and many others have had. We have had our tap for 6 and a half years. It started dripping then water started escaping from the top (see video). Contacted HG Customer services who said i need a complete new cartridge at a cost of approx £70. Have just followed the instructions to open up the tap - and can't. Spent 3 -4 hours using brute force, WD40, vinegar to remove limescale and then gave up. I will contact customer services for any suggestions but reading comments on HG Youtube channel looks like this is a badly designed unit as the deposit of limescale seems to make it impossible to open and replace cartridge /repair as instructed.If you live in an area with hard water this may not be for you or you may need to open and clean every 6 -12 months (which means turning the water off at the stop cock every time !! )The options we now have are to replace with a new unit at a cost of £300+ (which will fail in 6 years ??) or replace with a cheaper non Hansgrohe alternative; While this tap looks wonderful - who can afford to replace a £300 pound tap every 6 years or pay £70 for a new cartridge (assuming you can open the unit ) ??

Exactly the same comments as Ivan S - beautiful product and design but hard water destroys it. I have the same problem with water spouting from the top after just a few years - at £300+ to replace , not a cheap option.
