Unbelievably easy
The water tank in my RV failed after 23 years. Ordered a new one and wanted to continue to have information on the water level. Had no idea how to install new 'sensors' without cutting open the new tank. This product was the solution. Simply drill a hole at the right level (I used my old tank as a template) insert the new sensor and slowly tighten. The gasket will expand inside the tank forming a leak proof seal. If you don't tighten enough, it will leak. If you over tighten you could corrupt the washer and get a leak. So, tighten moderately and fill while checking for leaks. If you have a leak, tighten just a little more. Good for another 23 years.

Make sure the size is right
Well after 24 years my fresh water tank sprung a leak, 35 gallons of water soaked the inside of my RV,Once I got that mess cleaned up I did some research and found that the fix is really pretty "easy",Pull the wires, pull the old one out, push the new one in and bobs your uncle.Well pulling the old ones were the hard part, and that really not part of the review for these, other than to know, if you are DIY, this may be a little hard, if you have hard water and an older set up.Once I got the old ones out, these went in, they were sized the the size they said they were, they said made in USA. So far they are holding the water back in the tank.It was nice to have a quickish, mostly easy and not terribly overpriced RV fix for once.

Much better then Factory
These sensors are much better than the ones that came in the tank. The biggest problem in my application was removing the old ones they have been in there for 12 years. And when you tried to remove the screws the rubber just turns with it not allowing it to loosen correctly. I ended up having to just take a pair of diagonal pliers and grabbing a hold of underneath the head and pulling them out at an angle the installation was easy peasy and work perfectly.
