Spicy citrus grapefruit smell. That feels very masculine. Leans more expensive than most common colognes but is worth it.

Terre D’Hermes is a man’s scent, not a kid’s. Timeless classic… dirty, earthy, peppery, and orange. Dry, not sweet. Projection is impressive for the fresh blend, 8+ hours longevity off my skin. If I could only keep just one fragrance, this might be the one. Not the biggest compliment getter, maybe even decisive. Personally don’t care, you will simply never get bored of this masterpiece.

I'm a long-time user of this fragrance.I can confirm that I received a real bottle (note I bought directly from Amazon.com, i.e., their official distribution, not one of the third parties selling on here). However, the bottle I received (2022 batch) has markedly less performance/longevity compared to my prior 2017 and 2019 bottles.Unfortunately, this classic fragrance has been reformulated one too many times now. In 2024, it is really starting to show when it comes to the longevity of the fragrance when directly compared to my 2019 bottle, which I still have.All in all, I would still buy this if you luck out on a great deal. I managed to buy it direct from Amazon for only $42 for 3.3 oz, which is an absolute steal. It still smells incredible, a masculine masterpiece, however do temper your expectations a bit as this has been reformulated...

Purchased Feb '21 with a coupon making the price quite attractive. I intended to hold the unopened package while I worked through some other colognes. Plans changed after I entered the date code (20872) on before storing the bottle. It proved to be manufactured in 2012. I tried to process a refund, which it seems it not allowed for this type of product. Given a choice between opening it and reselling in the open market, I rolled the dice and popped the cellophane.The fragrance is very clearly genuine and is still fine. All the orange peel, vetiver and Iso E Super cedar notes sit properly in their places. The fragrance is sophisticated, masculine, seeming fairly mature and the woodier notes last on the skin for the whole day. If you know what you're buying when you order, Terre d'Hermes is fantastic. If you haven't smelled it before, it might be worth trying to sample before purchasing.So in the end everything turned out OK, but potential buyers should be aware that (at least in this case), Amazon has shipped unusually old product without any disclaimer in the product information.

The media could not be loaded. This scent somehow comes off classy while smelling like an actual dirty orange. The mixture of oranges and woods with vetiver can only be explained as a dirty orange. Its not my scent profile but I still cant deny the quality of this product. The scent last for 6 hours on me and is pretty consistent in the smell from start to finish. The cap is cool how it screws down to open the atomizer. Strong bottle too, I dropped it the day I got it and not even a chip in it from hitting concrete. So, if you like vetiver and oranges you are the person for this one. If you dont know vetiver, don't blind buy this. Try to get your nose on it because some would call it an aquired taste or one who has a developed nose for perfumery. Just my two cents on this one. Enjoy!

Best scent

Very classic Hermès fragrance, but the smoky smell is a bit unbearable. It is more suitable for smokers, and it can blend well with the smoke. So I gave it to my dad, it's perfect for him! HAHA...
