Jeppesen VFR Tri-fold Kneeboard with Clipboard JS626003

It is very easy to have in order all the papers you need when you fly. It is also very useful to keep papers, licence, maps, charts and every kind of papers needed to fly. Also it fits confortable on your knee so it is not a problem to have it for long flights.

There is no dimensional information given on the Amazon page - Dimensional info can be found on the Jeppesen website and is given as 11 1/2 inches tall and 21 inches wide opened - quite generous. This item as received was 10 3/4 tall by 18 1/2 opened. It will NOT accept even a new, never re-folded sectional in the right clear pocket - much less a re-folded sectional. It cannot be folded closed with pens in the elastic holders or anything else in the pockets or on the clipboard - it will not close properly with anything in it.Build quality appears good. Velcro'd elastic strap appears of good quality. This might be OK for a minimalist pilot but not for someone who wants to have more than a sheet or two of paper in it.I'm returning this one. The Amazon page would be well-advised to update with dimensional information.I actually like my old AOPA freebie trifold kneeboard better - even though it's strap is beginning to fall apart... at least it holds my sectionals and "stuff".

hi, i get this product like a months ago, i dident have time to do my review but I have something to said...these part hase a 3 espot on the plate i dont know if you can changed or not, these is a gift and now i dont no what to do, I receive the part on time and wiht plastic, loock like new, but is durthy....thanks any way...

With a name like Jeppesen on it, one would think this is well designed and manufactured but what a piece of junk this is.- The transparent plastic in the middle is not sewn in properly. Manufacturing defect.- The pocket on the right is too small for a regular sectional map. Design flaw- When you put a pen into either of the 2 loops, the flaps don't close properly. Design flaw.

One would assume that a VFR pilot would carry some maps while flying. These are usuallySectionals that have always had the same size, at least the last 20 years i remember them.Using this kneeboard you will realize they do NOT fit in the side pockets as they are just half an inch too small.Wouldnt buy it again.
