Close to perfect everyday writing/note-taking pen
I'm kind of pen perfectionist and have tried a lot of different brands and styles of pen. This is the best overall pen I've found for everyday writing and note-taking. It writes very smoothly with a dark, even line. It doesn't easily smudge or bleed through unless you really press down hard. It's comfortable in the hand especially with the rubber grip. Although plastic, it has a shiny metallic look that gives it a professional appearance. Retractable is a huge plus for me because I lose caps all the time and dislike needing to uncap and recap whenever I start and stop writing.Could it be improved? Sure. When writing with this I tend to get "ghost" lines between my letters and generally not write quite as precisely (despite the name) as I'd like. It's featherlight and a I think a touch more weight would keep it more stable in the hand and improve the writing experience. I would also prefer an even finer point tip for writing small. Although the ink is good I prefer the Pigma ink in Micron pens. Microns also go several sizes smaller (down to .20mm), however, I find that they have a bit more resistance than the Pilot, which makes them less comfortable to write with, and they also have the dreaded cap.If anyone can recommend any other pens to try, please let me know!

very nice product
I purchased these on a recommendation from another artist, because the ink is water soluble, so after you do your sketch you can swipe it with a water brush to spread the color. It does work for that. I have not used for anything else at this time.

By far my favorite pens!
These are by far the best pens I've tried! They're inexpensive (always a great plus) and write so smoothly. I am a sucker for a smooth ink pen, but I can generally get a little annoyed if it doesn't dry fast enough and I accidentally brush my finger along the page. This pen dries so fast and has such a smooth writing experience that I really just want to write with it all day long. The size of the pen's grip is also quite comfortable, and it is relatively cushy but isn't the best for all day use. If you are looking for something to use on and off throughout the day I highly recommend this! If you are looking for something that you want to use all the time though I would recommend getting an extra grip and still getting this pen as the writing experience is unmatched at this price point!

My favorite pen
This has been my favorite pen for over 5 years now. It writes nice and smooth, and my handwriting looks the better when using it. The fine tip is so so so so so nice and I don't experience any breaks in my lines unless I'm for some reason using the pen at an extreme angle. It does seem to run out of ink pretty fast, but I haven't quite figured out if it's a fault of the pen or if I've just been using it so much that it drains. This would make me look elsewhere, but when it does die and I have to switch to another pen the quality of my handwriting and notes immediately go down, so I just get sad using other pens. Ink refills for this pen aren't very expensive for a 12 pack of them, so I'm happy with it.I recommend it for people with nice and/or small handwriting. Aesthetic motivates me a lot so if I'm not happy with the materials I'm using then I'm much less likely to get stuff done. I use this pen so much because I love it so much (hence the reason it's possible that I'm the reason it seems runs out of ink faster than other pens).

End Game Pen😄
The best pens I’ve used thus far. My first one was a lost pen that I found on the floor. I loved it to so much I had to buy more!

Updated Review
I love pens. These remind of the rotring technical pens I used in college, but, in one way they're better. With these, you don't have to twist off and post the cap before you can make a quick note or scribble a phone number. All I have to do is click and I get a very fine line of ink on the scrap of paper. The quality overall is very good; they feel like they'll take some abuse as well. These pens are good writers - four stars - five because they're retractable and sturdy. .It turns out they're not that sturdy. As I was taking my coat off for the drive home tonight, I discovered very large (4" x 3") stains both on the side of my shirt and on the sleeve. Not happy. The culprit was in its upright and locked position. Something bad happened any way. I admit that I was too angry at the malefactor to do anything other than toss him into a nearby trash can - well that and come up with a few words questioning his heritage, masculinity and overall poor hygiene. There should have been a proper necropsy, but it didn't happen. Now I'm left with anger and a ruined french blue shirt. It's a few weeks later and I've been using these again. They're behaving themselves, so I'm adding one star. I really like the blue, but the red is too much on the pink side for my liking. All of them are dependable writers and they lay down a neat, precise line. The ink doesn't smear. That's a big plus for me. I'm going to act as if the trouble with the one pen was an aberration and move on.
