I've been collecting Zippos for some time now and I've got a few rare ones. This little insert has been epic for allowing me to use my zippos to light my stogies. I did have issues with it when I first received it and put fuel in it, but it was my bad for not bleeding it before putting fuel inside.If you're buying one, just make sure to drain it first, the same way you would with any lighter for about 10 seconds. It works like a charm now and lasts a good while before needing another refill. Highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY GREATI love my zippo lighter but always struggle to fill with the fluid this is a brilliant alternative and I love it . Works perfectly the feel of it is great easy to fill and fits my zippo perfectly. Actually bought another one for my husband. The flame us great i can't say enough about how great it is. Definitely a great upgrade without the mess and smell of the normal zippo.

Well made product in general so much more better than the regular petrol works. But there is a slight flaw regarding the spring loaded cam closing mechanism, I only noticed by chance because the trademark Zippo sound didn’t sound right & upon looking at the cam noticed that the pivot pin had started to work it’s way out to the point where it wasn’t holding it in place completely on one side & it was just the spring tension alone keeping it from falling out & falling apart. It was easy enough to line up & push it back through to secure it but that isn’t the point, Zippo have a very good record of quality & this has now lessened my confidence in the product’s durability by having to check it each time I use the lighter to make sure it isn’t working it’s way loose again.

Works well and retains the fuel for much longer than the original Zippo petrol insert. Had to adjust the flame height using the screw on the base of the unit. The original insert is now in a drawer, and my satin chrome Zippo lighter now feels modernised, if you like. Of course the external appearance is still the same, but the new butane insert is precise, with a consistent small and very hot vivid blue flame. Since my lighter is only used infrequently, the method mentioned by another reviewer seems to work best: press the button for a second to charge the unit with butane gas, then release and depress the button a second time. Instant ignition is the result. Although I like and appreciate the classic Zippo design which uses lighter fluid, the conversion to butane fuel thanks to this well designed genuine Zippo insert is a welcome upgrade. Excellent delivery and packaging by the seller. Fully recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Had this lighter insert for 2 days. 1st day it worked perfect always lights first time. 2nd day as you can see from the video it doesn't light. On the rare time it decides to light it will only stay lit for 2 seconds maximum.The lighter is full of gas, I've tried with the flame control on max and down to low and nothing. Tried to contact zippo and not received a reply so I'll be returning this.UPDATE: Zippo got back to me and said because I've bought it from amazon and not direct through them they won't honor the warranty and I need to contact amazon to rectify. Completely unlawful as the consumer rights act 2015 states the manufacturers warranty comes first. Basically their slogan of "It works or we fix it for free" doesn't mean jack if you bought it through amazon, pathetic considering the insert wasn't even 48 hours in my control before it stopped working.Product will be getting returned and I won't be getting any more zippo products. The fluid version with the wick leaks, and this product doesn't even work.UPDATE: Now changed to 1 star. Zippo claim they don't need to provide a warranty on products not purchased directly through them. Complete horse crap.

Took a little setting up, which was easy to do after watching a short YouTube video and was well worth making the adjustments suggested. Well made and efficient. All the style of your original petrol zippo with the convenience of a jet flame. Would definitely recommend.

Found this a great alternative to the normal multi fuel insert. Will hold the fuel for months without evaporation. Good fit, doesn’t add any weight and almost as wind proof as the original.
