WAS A SKEPTIC...NOW A BELIEVER
I'm 55 years old and the texture of my hair shows it...lol. If I didn't color my hair, I would have white hair. We have hard water here, too. Between the coloring and hard water, I usually have to use conditioner in the shower AND leave-on spray conditioner afterwards, as well. I saw this conditioning hair mask on here, read the reviews, and I thought I'd give it a try. I went into it being very skeptical, because I've tried a variety of hair masks that never really did much (including Biolage hair mask!!). After the second time using this, I noticed a remarkable difference! I no longer need to use an additional spray-on conditioner after my shower! AMAZING! I only use the hair dryer on my bangs...the rest air dries. After I use the curling iron, or straightener to style my hair, my hair is SO SOFT, SHINY, BOUNCY, AND IS LEFT WITH A TERRIFIC SCENT ❤️. The flyaways are greatly reduced, too! I will definitely be buying it again.

5 stars, love it
LOVE LOVE LOVE!Amazing smell, subtle and not overpowering over shampoo. Leaves my hair super soft and helps detangling it. I have VERY thin hair and it falls a lot so I'm always careful with the products I use.It also helps locking in moisture and body.

Bleached and/or dry hair? This is paradise for your hair!
This is amazing🙏🏽Here is my penny in the bucket review:First and foremost, let me tell you about my hair. I have thick wavy/curly, FRIZZY Latina hair. Lots of hair and fairly thick individual strands (unless it’s around my face or lightened). I straighten it way too much and I’ve pretty much beaten the curl out of it. I have balayage for a more natural look (although it’s pretty light and I have nearly black hair, so imagine what it takes to look natural) and I go lighter around spring/summer every year. We are our own worst critic and once you go blonde, you keep going lighter (translation) I tend to get touch ups on my balayage more often than I should 😏For example, I went to my stylist a few months ago and said I wanted a few more brighter blonde pieces to make the dimension more pronounced. My stylist said: “I’m going to give you two responses. Expert opinion: you will see breakage and I don’t think we should go lighter when you were already recently here and typically only do small trims. As a client pleaser and push over: we can certainly do this and you can style your hair to hide the breakage.” I told him I appreciated his honesty but a girl wants what she wants 💁🏽♀️Long story short, he was right. I have a lot of breakage and I did worry about my recently beautifully lightened hair breaking away to the point of it appearing as though I never went to the salon lol. Solution: I bought a handful of things from amazon to maintain the color breakage and revitalize my hair. This product being one of them. Now that you have some backstory on my hair, I will begin with the application. I stepped out the shower and I followed the instructions - shampoo only - I used a Natural Maple something shampoo I bought on Amazon (Review coming soon-it’s good!) and then lightly towel dried my hair. Now remember, I have thick hair so I used a pretty good portion size; maybe three red grapes together and applied it all over my hair but really, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! It smells amazing - citrusy like Clinique happy! and it feels surprisingly light (I’ve used a few different masks and this isn’t thick and creamy - this is light and soft! The best way to describe it is like Pantene conditioner and shut up, you are lying to yourself if you hate how Pantene smells and feels on your hair when wet 🤨!!Anyway, I bought a black hair mask cap off amazon that I heat up in the microwave for 2 minutes. Put my hair in a bun with no rubber band and put the mask over. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. No shampoo. No more conditioner - just rinse and dry. My hair is polished looking - barely any friz and it FEELS HEALTHY despite it being way too processed! I actually use this every time I shower - I tried to skip it once and use a perfectly good conditioner but my hair felt so brittle and dry when it started to dry that I got it wet again and put the mask on. BOOM. Smooth and silky.🗣 I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR DRY COLORED AND BLEACHED HAIR. Especially if you’re like me and have naturally dark hair but like going Carmel or blonde - this is for you!! 👩🏽👉🏼👱🏽♀️Btw, I love this stuff so much I bought 3 more bottles and gave them to my mother in law, sister and two best friends. They love it too 💁🏽♀️**Pictures show my hair without a hair dryer or hot tools applied (fire eyes) and normally I have to blow dry my hair before using a curling iron to get the frizz out but with this I don’t (yes eyes)

worked well
After I rinsed, I wasn't impressed. My hair felt brittle and coarse, and I had to put the same amount of product in it as usual just to safely brush it. BUT once it finished air drying, my hair was noticeably better. It was smoother and touchable. I don't think my wet hair will be as bad next time. My hair was in desperate need, and this was the first time I used any deep conditioning product since my last lightening and coloring. I would recommend this to a friend as a less expensive alternative to the name brands.Update: I have used it three times now and am not impressed. It has done very little, and I can't say that I see noticable lasting effects. As far as I can tell, my homemade kitchen goop is equally as effective. It's just not good enough on my hair to buy again. I'll be going back to the more expensive options.

can’t read directions!
Just did first mask conditioning on my recently permed hair-had to guess at the directions-print on bottle is in white and so small that even w/magnifying g;ass, i couldn’t read it. At least, include directions in the listing! I will update this review after I rinse it all out and hair dries.
