A reliable watch that looks after itself indefinitely.
Over many years I have acquired 7 Casio watches. This is the most recent but it's the first time I have thought of reviewing any of them. In some ways this is a composite review of numerous Casio watches. All those I own are excellent watches. Those with G-Shock, solar power cells and signal controlled time are probably perfect watches. You can' t ask for more than a watch that never needs winding, never needs its battery changed and never needs the time or date to be adjusted whilst remaining 100% accurate. This particular model is solar powered and signal controlled. The first Casio I bought in 2015 has run faultlessly for nearly 10 years of regular use without any adjustments being necessary.I fully expect this most recent one to look after itself for years to come. These Casio watches have justifiably become iconic.

Brillant Watch
I like it very much and it is a superb acurate watch with solar battery, so no need to replace it every couple of years. Good value for money. I have changed cloth strap which was too stiff imho for metal bracelett, and it looks even better now.

Good value, great functionality, but plastic
Zero maintenence. No battery to replace, no time to correct. The numbers are very clear and the luminescence is amazingly good. The back light also very effective though could do with staying on longer. It's true what the reviews say about uncomfortable strap. It really is terrible. But I think it will improve with wear. It's a shame the glass and case are both plastic.

Nice watch - No english Instructions but available on line and youtube
I like the smaller face of the watch and all the functions, especially impresses with the backlight which I think works very well. Its a bit more difficult to set up than my 4 button watch but managed it with the aid of youtube instructions. The Strap is very stiff, I fastened it in the position I wanted it and put a weight on it overnight to flatten the strap a bit to the shape of my wrist. Been OK since and I guess will get more flexible in time.

Cheap feel and very few operable features
The good. The watch face is clear to read hours and minutes and you have a digital readout too. It does not wear as large as the 41mm size suggests as it has a short lug to lug. It is very light weight, esp. compared to say, a seiko diver. Second hand is very thin to see. Watch comes without English instructions and many features shown on the internet on watches with same chipset do not work even after watch left in bright natural light all day. Eg :no date. It should be a perpetual calendar. Strap is very stiff and pin holding strap together is very small/thin. Initially the seconds were off but they corrected overnight to precise time.Overall the watch has a cheap lightweight feel.Lots of reviewers on You Tube praise this range of watches but I am very disappointed with the quality and operation of this sample.

Watch meets all expectstions
Unfortunately the user instructions were in Japanese so had to download them from the internet which was not straightforward.

Ideal watch for most occasions that does it almost all for you.
I have a selection of Casio watches most of them like this, all varied in design but I wanted this because of its contemporary design and size as I have small wrists and the other solar, wave ceptor watches I have are quite big and heavy due to the nature of them. This one is both lighter and smaller, not like wearing a weight on your wrist, it sets itself perfectly accurately and is solar so no need for battery change as I am both a little lazy and slightly environmentally conscious.I have read some reviews about the strap but I like it and it's not at all uncomfortable in anyway for me. I must admit I'd like to have the month also on the display, whichc could've been put there through making the digits slightly smaller, buts that's a minor design flaw, for me, other have also said about the digital bit just been cut away, yes it's strange but not that annoying as it had to be put there, but that's another design flaw.Overall for me I would definitely recommend as all you need to do is face it in the light every now and again and with the spring/summer coming its quite easy, for power all the time, with a great reserve charge. Put it UN the window the 12 I clock position facing out, now and again for perfect time keeping and that's it, great watch. A++
