Rabbit air filters
The filter is fine. I ordered the wrong one. I wanted one for germ removal and ordered the one for odor removal. Sad day. It was definitely my mistake. I love however how the filters fit and that they have instructions on which filter goes where.

Rabitair filter sets are excelent quality.
I have been using Rabitair for 7 years and think their filters are the best. The quality is always top notch and they work great.

Have loved my rabbit air for over 10 years and just bought a second one.
During the LA fires I purchased a second rabbit air minus 2 and also got for my parents. It’s absolutely perfection for clearing out particulate matter in air, including the smoke we are all dealing with. You can tell when it’s non clean air when the sensor turns red, and you know the air has been cleaned when the sensor returns to blue.Highly recommended.

Breathe easy
I don't know what I would've done over the last few years if I didn't have my MinusA2, and these filter replacement kits, to keep my home environment clean. I'm not sure if links are allowed, but I've created an imgur album with pictures of what the filters looked like after 8 mos of continuous operation on auto mode in an approximately 150 square foot closed off (door always closed, excepting awful drafty jalousie windows) bedroom in the SF Valley, one building off Ventura Blvd here: [...] . If they remove the link and you'd like to see it, just drop me a line. I put the old medium (2nd) and HEPA (3rd) filters next to the new ones for comparison. I couldn't see anywhere to upload the pictures on the main site, but really, to think I could've been breathing all that smoggy nastiness in...it makes me shudder. My roommate was always waking up in his room all runny nosed, watery-eyed, hoarse, and wheezy. I'm exceptionally more sensitive than he is but I was never like him in the mornings, and my dog and cat who spent most their time sleeping next to me in bed while I hermit-ed in my room for several years (medical) were much less sneezy than my roommate's pets.I'm now in the Valley of the Sun and there's a desert dust problem here so it'll be interesting to see what the filters look like 8 mos from now...maybe a brownish red instead of smog black? I would like to note that I did vacuum the large particle filter/screen at least weekly with a Dyson, as it does a really excellent job of collecting pet hair and dust. This kit does NOT come with a new large particle kit but I'm still using the original I received with my unit 3+ years ago and it's working like new, still. Don't forget to clean the sensor with some degree of regularity, also!I've now ordered three sets of filters from this product page, I believe, over the last few years, and they're always genuine and nicely packaged, arriving in perfect condition. Now that I'm in a one bedroom, I set the unit near my chair while I'm in the living room area, then move it by my bed at night, so I always have fresher air nearest to me (and my pets, who shadow me...I want them to breathe clean air too!). I hope they never stop making these filter kits! Yes, they're a little pricey, but to me it is a preventative health care expense, and much cheaper than allergy or maybe after years of exposure to airborne pollutants, asthma medications (and much healthier, I might add). It's kind of like that quote I've seen floating around..."Organic food might be more expensive a lot of the time, but have you ever tried pricing cancer?" =]

Works great
Rabbit air really works in our home. We have 5 furry pets and cook a lot. We actually bungee corded the device on the banister above the stove out of the way. We never have that stale cooking smell in our house. Also, with our gas stove, fumes can travel upstairs. We like the toxins filter for that reason. Important to change the filters on schedule, but our quality in our home is so much better. We live mostly off-grid in a log cabin, so things like mold/must, wood smoke (winter), and gas fumes from the stove were issues.

Replacement filters
I usually order these directly from RabbitAir but paid a few dollars extra for the convenience of using Amazon. The description says it's the set is from Rabbit Air... and most of the contents were exactly the same as my previous set of filters. Two things were different:1. the purple (toxin) filter looked a little different (thinner?)2. the HEPA filter was a little different but still substantial. For example, the outside moulding that makes it fit tight was different.I hope the quality is the same as the last 4 sets I've purchased. Hard to say at this point.I will say that RabbitAir does a WONDERFUL job of labeling everything so that you can put it together. They also pack it very well for shipping.Note: I would order a 2nd RabbitAir purifier if they made smaller versions. One half the Minus2 size would be perfect for a small area.

Home Air Quality
My wife is sensitive to impure air in the home. Now entering the third year of use of the Rabbit Air machine, could not be more pleased. Particularly its sensitivity. Fry up sausage in the kitchen, the unit in the den senses the change in the air, and that usually blue light on the unit becomes pink, later returns to blue when the oil vapor clears. Or it clears the vapor. Bought on the recommendation of a friend, who over time has put in multiple units, she clearly pleased. Filter change is a breeze compared with a friend who has outside whole house filters. That requires a service tech to change and does not give rapid notice of air quality changes.
