Comfortable Bucket Seat For My Sim Rig
Comfortable and came together easy (if you already know how to build a sim racing rig). The slider bracket that's sold separately is the thing that will screw your build up as it is pictured wrong in it's display picture and has to be installed a completely different way. I already have a seat with a slider for a reference so I just copied that method of installation and it went together perfectly.People complaining about the seat not lining up properly don't realize that the slider pull bar is like a spring and it's putting tension on both sides in opposite directions. You have to screw one side down to the base, tighten that side's screws fully, then pry the other side with a pry bar (or just a longer flat head screwdriver) to line up that side for tightening.Steps for install:1) Measure the width of the brackets2) Align the tracks on the rig to the width you just measured..3) Remove the brackets from the sides of the seat4) Screw the brackets into the seat slider attachment5) Adjust the seat sliders to the rear to expose the front mounting holes and attach to the tracks of the rig6) Adjust the seat sliders to the front to expose the rear mounting holes, attach the rears to the tracks.7) Make sure the tracks of the rig are fully tightened down8) Attach the seat slider bar and make sure it fully works9) Attach the seat to the seat brackets.(FYI if you bought the NRG seat slider, the display picture is upside down and the slider bar is on backwards. I already have a seat with a slider on my rig so I just copied that. The flatter/thicker side of the slider is what attaches to the seat bracket and the silver bar with the 2 pins for the slider bar goes towards the front of the seat)

Seems pretty legit
Was a bit worried on the mixed reviews. But mine came two days early and it was in a nrg box. Everything seemed legit and I didn’t have any problems there. I thought the large just based off what others said and I’m glad I did. I am 6’ 2” 230 and my waist is roughly 36-38 but I’d say at most a 40 may fit but it would be a bit tight.

Super comfortable, legitimacy is a bit shaky
The seat showed up double-boxed in great condition. I installed this onto an NLR GTElite cockpit, and it fits very well. The NRG mounting brackets were slightly bent on one end, but I used the mounting brackets that came with my cockpit and didn't have any issues. If you don't have a spare set of seat brackets, it's a good idea to get one in hand, just in case. The seat itself is spacious and wide. I have 22-inch shoulders and am a bit bulkier. This seat fits very well, and the bolstering isn't so aggressive that I feel squeezed into place. The cushioning also feels adequate, and my rear end hasn't complained during longer sessions. The color of the red seat cover matches the photos as well.I've read that these and other NRG seats on Amazon are likely to be copies or factory rejects from the manufacturer, and some have experienced warping issues or other damage. Thankfully, my seat seems to be in great condition, but I'd be cautious when ordering this seat. This is a good deal for a bucket seat, but be sure to inspect for any damage.

Great seat, but terrible packaging.
I had bought this seat for use in a racing sim. The seat came in at a rather quick rate which I was happy with. Upon opening the seat it had come with the mounting brackets already attached. The package had also surprisingly came with a set of seat sliders which saved me the trouble of having to buy one later on. I also wanted to note that the box the seat came in had absolutely zero padding or foam to maintain the integrity of the box and to protect the item inside. The only thing protecting the seat was a thin layer of bubble wrap surrounding the seat. Upon initial inspection the seat had seemed to be fine, but when mounting the seat to the racing sim I had come to learn that one of the preinstalled brackets was bent inward toward as if it had taken an impact at some point in shipping. When mounting it to the sim rig I had to whip out an impact in order to torque the bent side enough for it to sit flat. However by doing this now the seat sits at a slight left angle and will not sit square to the rim rig because of the bend in the bracket. with this I have no clue as to why it would be shipped with the bracket already mounted to the seat with no supports or foam under and around it preventing it from being bent. I had made attempts to reach out to NRG support but have heard nothing in response.
