I purchased this to work with my HP laptop charger. Just noting that you only receive the portion of the charger that connects from the outlet to the battery, so make sure you already have that portion of the charger or are purchasing a different, fully inclusive charging model. This worked perfectly well with my HP, and has a pretty universal plug that should work for a wide variety of PCS.

We purchased this long 12' laptop power cord for my wife to use for work presentations & travel purposes. This cord will replace the factory 2' cable that is not nearly long enough. Goes all the way across any room, and my friends no longer trip on the old cable! Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Only needed half of the power cord for a laptop that was donated to me, so I didn't think I would be able to find it easily, cheaply or quickly. I also doubted the likelihood of finding the exact plug needed for a very outdated laptop that I didn't even know the model number of. Due to the images and description, I was able to quickly locate what I needed and for an amazing price that was well below what I expected. Item arrived on time as expected and was exactly what was described and was exactly what was needed. Connects well with the other half of the power cord and its longer than the original so even more convenient than the original. I leave the laptop plugged in as the battery is old and also probably should be replaced/updated, so I am unable to report on the speed of the charging. I have had no problems with it not connecting to the power supply or quality of the product. Would definitely purchase again!

This was a replacement cord for the rather short cord that was included with our Compaq/HP laptop. A bit of a tight fit with the connections(I'll chalk that up to it being new), and the "brick" did heat up while charging (caveat(s): the machine was down to about 18% battery and, that is almost 3 years old), but otherwise worked as advertised. Worked right out of the box.The length almost borders on the ridiculous. The wife takes this laptop to work 5 days a week, and was tethered to a wall because of the "stock" cord. No more. I can plug it in to a power strip in the living room and charge up in the kitchen. The only downside that I see with the added length is that it takes up a bit more space in the backpack. Not a deal breaker by any means.Delivery was a day ahead of schedule, no complaints there. The only downside was that the delivery cost more than the cord. Worth every penny. I probably would have spent that running all over looking for something comparable.I gave it 4 stars because I'm waiting to see how this holds up "in the field". I'm more than confident that it will.

Like many folks, I have a laptop that is several years old and has thus gone from the once phenomenal 3.5 hour battery life to 1.5 hour battery life. Thus I must carry my charger everywhere. Thus I must find a power outlet everywhere. Thus do I realize that power outlets are rarely within convenient reach of anywhere that isn't horribly uncomfortable to sit and work using the standard 3 ft cord that comes with most laptops.I tried a 6ft one. It doesnt alleviate the problem, 3 extra ft is about 3/4 of a single chair at a standard conference table or airport waiting area. If you aren't the first person to every meeting or every airport, 6ft won't solve your problem.This 12 ft cord gives me the opportunity to be the 4th or 5th person to arrive at any given outlet. In my experience, this length guarantees you power about 90% of the time, allowing for a full wall outlet.Slap a $2 grounded triple tap on the end of your Pwr+ 12ft cord, and you now have a >99% chance of getting power whenever you want it because you can unplug someone else, plug them into your triple tap, and still leave even one additional power outlet at the wall tap.As you learn in kindergarten, leave things better than you found them.
