Brilliant, i have struggled for years with a hosepipe on the wall that you wrap around its frame.I thought i would treat myself, wish i would have got one of these years ago.wow so much easier than messing about with hose pipe that kinks and is a pain in the rear.Get one you wont be sorry. This is brilliantly made, and is really long at 40 meters so it reaches right down to the bottom of our garden. Overall just well made and effective. You do need a bit strength to pull the pipe the longest distance but other than that feel it is great buy and avoids messy pipe over the garden

Just installed this yesterday. It is a nice robust item. My advice is to get your own good quality screws as accessing the screws when installing is tricky, and the screws which come with the unit are poor quality, so will damage very easily when under pressure from a power driver. Installation is not as easy as made out, you will need to allow time and have a very slim marker to mark the holes you intend to drill...I ended up having to use a kids paint brush and some paint! A traditional pencil will not fit through the mounting points on the unit. Get good screws - You do not want to destroy a screw halfway through installation!! Other than that, the unit looks great and does what it should. It's really tidy and has really cleaned up the side passage to the house which previously had trailing hoses and lots of related trip hazards.

I brought one 13 years ago. Never been covered up or had it brought in for winter. Sadly it has broken ,so as the first one lasted so long . I have stuck with the same brand . There is only one problem that the hose pipe is not as robust as it used to be .

A great garden hose which extends to its full length and then reels it all back in (you need to practice this to get it perfect each time) , in use over a year now. Needs careful positioning in the garden where you can get a permanent mains water supply. Might need a bit of plumbing for this.

The media could not be loaded. There is an issue with the ball which is meant to stop the end of the hose fully retracting. The ball goes through the yellow cover and the way to get it out is to remove the yellow cover, unscrew the ball then put it all back again. This is both annoying and time consuming and I've had to purchase another larger ball at my own cost on top of £158 for the hose.
