Can I mount this on a wall (onto screws into the wall)?

Does the 24 port Desktop/Rackmount model come with the rack mounts for a standard 19" cabinet?

Yes it does. Fits very well, and was very simple to install into the rack.

Please let me know if the TL-SG1024D is fanless - confusing from the reviews

no fan is visible. or can be heard - don't recall there ever being a fan in the spec or desciptionit is very quiet, simple, & does the job. had it a long while - never touched it after I installed it -

What's the difference between the desktop/rack version and the rackmount version? Apart from price.

Dimensions. The Desktop/Rackmount version is 18 x 29.4 x 4.4cm, the Rackmount 18 x 44 x 4.4cm to utilise the width of a 19in rack. I guess the D/R version comes with longer brackets to allow rack mounting but is smaller so more suitable for confined spaces.
