Fantastic entry-level wireless for IEMs
Not sure why others are complaining about noise/distortion with this unit - I plugged it in out of the box in my home studio and it sounds great. I use it for silent practice at home and for my online lesson sessions. Both transmitter and receiver are small and well-built. The receiver has a convenient belt-clip and the transmitter has an included 1/4 in adapter for devices that have a 1/4 in headphone jack (e.g. most audio interfaces and mixers). Battery capacity seems great - I had it on for 4 hours out of the box without charging and it didn't run out of juice. The volume controls on the receiver are solid and very responsive - this thing can provide all the volume you need.I highly recommend this as a great value wireless system for IEMs for at-home and small venue use for gigging.

Factory fault ... And no response from the manufacturer
This product worked well for about 3 days ..the receiver part of it has stopped working.. I have reached out to nux via their website.. and still no response.. do not buy this there is a fault somewhere...waste of money ..the sax set up seems fine though.

Good product but not so sturdy construction
I have the instrument version as well. Although it is a good product, it is not as sturdy as the instrument version.

Don't know why all the bad reviews!
So glad I didn't listen to all the negative reviews and took a chance with this system. I bought an xvive that sounded great but I couldn't use my NU-X guitar wireless because it was on the same 2.4 GHz and would cut out. I sent the xvive back and got a behringer p2 and made it wireless with a cheap Lekato guitar wireless system that ran on 5.8 GHz. It worked but but was bulky, heavy and jury rigged. When I saw Nux came out with one that ran on 5.8 GHz I had to try it and I'm not sorry. I thought the $20 buds I bought was why they behringer sounded kinda tinny with not much low frequency response but I guess it was the behringer itself. This sounds much more like a regular floor monitor. I take one out and I can still hear myself, my JBL EON MK2 and the crowd but my voice and backing tracks so much better. Maybe there was just a bad batch but for an acoustic act who needs a small footprint and doesn't want to bring a monitor these are great, especially if you use a guitar wireless that runs on 2.4 GHz. My only complaint is they should have made the lid of the case just a little taller so you could fit your earbuds in it. Otherwise A+

I'm sad to report I'm getting heavy distortion
I really wanted to like this unit, and I really gave it a try, but I still continue to get heavy distortion when I use these in my band. So I'm a sax player and anytime I turn up the volume just enough to hear myself, I get a horribly distorted sound coming back at my ears. It sounds so bad, I can't use it. For comparison, and live on the gig, I've swapped out a Behringer P2 vs the NUX B7PSM, and the sax always sounds great on the Behringer P2. As soon as I use the NUX, I get that horrible distorted sound. I've tried it with a variety of outputs too: from the phone out on a mixer, phone out on the TC Helicon voicelive, so the XLR out with an adapter and always the same problem: distorted sound all to hell. It just can't take the sound of a saxophone, or a trombone for that matter. I loaned the unit to my bone player friend on stage and she immediately took them off her head saying "they sound like shit!" I agreed. Now, I'm giving it 2 stars because I have found them to be quite useful inside my zoom meetings. The sound is better than bluetooth and more reliable with less latency. I just need to make sure to use the extension cable and get the unit away from my laptop, because it kills the Wifi. Since I missed my return window, I've found a good use for them there.1/5 stars for monitoring a brass instrument2/5 stars for use as a wireless headset for zoom

The sound quality is literally the only thing wrong with this product.
I really hope NUX takes heed to everyone complaining about the sound issues. The hiss is noticeable at any volume and in any environment. And for the price, this is something that should have been solved before release, or at least before stating that loudness is the solution.BUT… that one (big) issue aside, I’m like a lot of other reviewers. The product seems to be great. Small footprint. Great connectivity. Chargeable case that also charges the units. I hate that the 1 con is so big that it kills the pros. NUX does have a great product on their hands if they can just sort out the sound.

Amazing IEM I almost didn’t buy
If you read the reviews on this IEM there are a lot of people saying how poorly it performs, that it is very noisy. I purchased it for use in a band situation with other vocalist and guitars. After receiving it, I tried using it connected to just my guitar and it was noisy, I was dismayed. I contacted NUX directly questioning this issue. My question “ Is there an explanation why it will work in a performance or rehearsal situation but would be noticeable in a silent practice session “ Their response. “Ugly facts:The system is a stereo and wireless setup, meaning that the raw data size is double that of a mono wireless in-ear monitoring system. To ensure a stable connection, we compress the raw data to some extent, resulting in a slight loss of sound quality and occasional high-frequency distortion. This distortion is more noticeable when using the system for quiet guitar practice sessions. However, it performs exceptionally well in live performances and band rehearsals where multiple instruments are mixed together, and the distortion issue is significantly reduced. “I have since used it with my band and it works really terrific. I did not notice any noise, It is so small and light, and was a pleasure to use, much better than the speaker monitors.
