ThermoPro TP50 Digital Thermo-Hygrometer Indoor Room Thermometer with Recording and Climate Indicator for Room, Climate Control Monitor

I have had a few of these devices for a decade but they recently stopped working.; knowing the temperature and humidity in different rooms has been an interesting exercise round the house, especially as we refurbished and improved insulation in different areas.They work straight from the box. Insert the supplied batteries and they instantly spring into action. No fuss, no settings - just data. That’s a big plus.The are improvements on my previous versions, e.g. the text is clearer and the show the minimum and maximum of each datum.Recommended.

Firstly huge thanks to ThermoPro for designing tech that just works out of the box, insert the batteries and you're working. Similarly the App just downloads and runs and picks up the device straightaway, no fuss. If only all tech was this straightforward.I wanted to monitor the temperature in an adjoining outbuilding where my water supply enters the building from a borehole. I was concerned about it freezing and bursting the pipes. However, there's a substantial (18" - 24") stone wall between the outbuilding and the kitchen. I wasn't sure the Bluetooth would get through but there are points where an air vent and pipes come through the wall. The good news is that I can read the temperature on my Nokia and my iPad.I believe it's accurate enough for my needs. I put it next to two ThermoPro TP50 units that I've had for over two years and once they settled down, took a few hours, they were all in agreement within the accuracy claimed for them, temperatures were within 0.2 'C, humidity within 3% of each other. The TP50s have run 24/7 for two years on the original batteries and never missed a beat monitoring humidity when we're drying clothes indoors with a heated clothes airer and a dehumidifier. Overall I'm very impressed with ThermoPro devices.

This has been a pleasant purchase and I would like to share my experience.The device comes exceptionally well packaged. Upon opening the box you are greeted with a couple of cards with customer service information and plenty of information on how to contact them via social media. This indicates to me a positive attitude that they want me to be very happy with this product. You also receive an instruction manual which is extremely basic but honestly, the device is very self explanatory. All I learned from the instructions is that if you hold the one and only button at the back of the device, it resets the recorded min/max readings.The device requires 1 AAA battery to work and it is supplied with 1 in the box so I got to use my device straight away without delay. The screen has a sticker protector on which is not necessary in my opinion however, I appreciate the gesture.After initially turning on, the device was in my hand. It immediately picked up a humid environment from being in my hand but after placing the device down on a flat surface, it averaged back out to a normal reading and went down to 55%. I have tried the device both lying down and being propped up and I have noticed zero difference in readings.The humid sensor I cannot compare as it is the only device I own to measure this in my house. However, the temperature sensor appears to be displaying about what I expect in my house and I have other devices to compare with and I can confirm it is reasonably accurate.The screen is very basic. It’s a very simplistic screen with no backlight so unfortunately, you will not be able to see any readings in the dark. I would like to see this feature added but, for the price I paid… I cannot complain.I have to give this product a perfect review because for the price, I cannot complain about anything.

what a nice surprise to see a product that is good value and works out of the box, Well you have to put battery in. nice and simple seems to work well. gives high and lows of temp as wll as current. Clear big numbers. has a magnet on the back so i have mine on the fridge door.

A cool little product that lets you know the humidity and temperature of a room. Pretty accurate, nice size with big icons so easy to read from a distance..I have mine on the side of the fridge as it's magnetic bit it does get moved around the house every now and then...it has a nice little stand so it can be put anywhereNice build quality with a nice bright screen that you can see. It seems pretty sensitive to temperature and humidity changes.

We bought this thermometer again last week, despite cheaper and even larger alternatives being available, because this model feels accurate and reliable.It works very well and is immediately responsive to even the smallest changes in temperature and humidity: whether we open a window, leave the bathroom door open after a shower, or use a hairdryer.The humidity display was especially important to us, as the first one we purchased three years ago quite literally saved my life.Battery life is over a year, at least with Duracell, but a different brand’s battery is included in the purchase.Highly recommended for its precision and reliability.

Very easy to set up and understand. It works well for what I need and I was happy with the price.

I bought these as a pair. My house is Victorian and solid brick, so humidity does collect and this device has allowed me to see what the levels are as well as monitoring temperature in one of my bedrooms. I have found them very useful. In terms of temperature accuracy and level of humidity, they are quite similar to the reading I get on my Salus thermostat and dehumidifier reading. Good product and good price. Pleased I purchased.
