got my 1st raun, been using norelco for 10 yrs. i have 4 bottles of norelco jet clean fluid - can i use it till im finished with my brain 790cc?

Hi Andrew,This is from my personal experience. I purchased the same 4 pack of the cleaning alcohol 11/17/2012 (approximately 13 months). I still have about 40% of my last cleaning solution remaining. This is what I do to maximize the life span of this product:*Note: The alcohol will evaporate rather quickly if you leave the cartridge in the cleaning system. 1) After I use my cleaning alcohol, I immediately seal it with the plastic cover that you have to rip off to open. 2) I have never rinsed the razor head under water for I feel that it makes the blades a bit rusty and dull, and makes the razor a bit ineffective. 3) After each shave, empty out the razor head. In addition, utilize the small brush that came with your shaving system set to clean the loose hairs in the underlying compartment. The fewer hairs the cleaning alcohol has to filter out, the cleaner the alcohol will remain. 3) I use the cleaning alcohol every 2 shaves.$20 for a 1 year cleaning solution that maintains the original quality of the razor is quite a good deal.Hope this helped man. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays or whatever people say.*Note: I recommend that after every shave you clean not only the razor head, but the underlying portion that isn't removable by utilizing the small brush that comes with your shaving system set to brush out any loose hairs. will this work with series 5

Yes I purchased the Braun Series 5 for my boyfriend a few months back and when it needed a refill I purchased these and it was a perfect fit :)

Will these work in the Braun Pulsonic razor system?

I have a Series 7 Braun razor. It came with a cleaning station and these cartridge refills fit that station. I don't know what your "Pulsonic system" looks like, so would recommend contacting Braun directly. They have been very helpful both on the phone and by e-mail.

Why do 8 cartridges cost > 3 times as much as 4?

You don’t have to use these every time you use the razor. I rinse mine under water once a week then use the rinse. After the rinse I close up the cartridge so it won’t evaporate. By rinsing the shaver under water first you keep the fluid clean longer. This way you can do forever with a cartridge.

Great price for genuine Braun refills

I have used Braun razors for many years, the last three being ones that work with the cleaning bases. The refills always keeps the shaver fresh and working at it's optimum and last about 6 weeks each. These refills were a good price, came in a simple cardboard box (rather than fancy packaging) and were a great price.

I intend to use my Braun shaver with its self maintenance cleaning machine until the shaver stops working.I have used it six months so far and am very pleased with the shave and the fact I do not have to fiddle around with the foil.If you are paying £200 for a shaver it is reasonable to assume that the self-cleaning station that comes with it works effectively. I intend to find out exactly how good the Braun shaver and its self maintenance system works by keeping it and running it into the grounds.So far I am very optimistic about having my shaver working well quite a long time I am not looking forward to the six-month foil and cutter change so I will delay that as long as I can.
