Just buy genuine and save yourself the headaches.
I replaced the drum with a much cheaper knock off before this. I always had issues with it, always had to clean. It always had print quality issues this time, I bought the real thing. Works like a charm. Sometimes you can get by with the cheap parts for printers, but the others are cheap for a reason. They work for a while and need replaced much sooner.
