great salomon speedcross gortex running shoes they look very nice and are waterproof the only issue like in the other salomon footware i own they are very tight fitting so definitely get half or 1 size up!!!

This is a very good looking shoe, but unfortunately I can't comment on the build quality or longevity, as I had to return mine after only a few hours of wearing them around the house. If, like me, you have wide feet, these are extremely unforgiving, and I found them horribly uncomfortable.If you need a wider shoe, Merrells are unfortunately no longer any good, so look at the offerings from Keen. I have just received a pair and they are super comfy.

good solid comfy shoes - used to walk the dogs each morning on muddy woodland 3k each day and thats it - within a month the gtx seal has failed in the toebox so now I have a wet right foot every morning- tis defeats the point of the shoe. and failure of the construction after a month from a reputable company like Salomon is pretty P!ss poorso great shoe but dont expect it to keep you dry for more than 25 or so uses - may as well save £50 and get a non gtx version from some other company
