Could be better
Didn’t hold well . The magnifier is good but quick connection was horrible. Had buy a better connection set for it to work on my 300 blackout or 308 ar10. What crazy is I expect the ar 10 to kick it off but not a 300 blkout

Great for the price!
Let me start by saying, if you can afford a nicer optic you should do so. It is difficult to argue with the price however, so if you need a budget magnifier, this will do exactly that. The good? Price, price, price. For less than $40 (USD 11/2024) you get a clean glass magnifier with quick release. It lets in a lot of light and will perform it's duty just fine. The bad? It's a hulking piece of metal and glass. It is surprisingly heavy. For the small field of view you get, I would have liked to see the frame be more compact too. Focus was a little hard to work with and the optics flip-release button is a little strange in design and function. The quick release worked fine and make it easy to move from platform to platform. If you are accustomed to more high-end optics you will probably be disappointed with this one. If you are new to the hobby or on a tight budget, this will work out great for you.

Hawkoptic 3x magnifier for optic dot sight providing 3x magnification
First the bad: This device and mount are heavy, making it a poor choice if you are trying to stay light in weight (usually a reason I choose a holo sight). This magnifier lacks a focus feature which may not be necessary; but, neither do my dot sights and I, personally, need a bit of diopter with scopes intended for range beyond 100 yards. Now, the good: The integrated mount with flip-away feature allows you to have it in the sight path only when you want it. The height to center of the magnifier matches my 2 dot sights well. Using this still yields a bright sight picture.
