Staedtler Math Set with Ruler, 2 Triangles, Protractor, portable 4 piece, 569 WP4

Nice little set. Fits in my small toolbox on my hobby bench.

Design is good. Light weight. Functioned as expected. Good value for the money.

I'm going to start by saying I have no idea why people complain about the size of this set when it is clearly written and obvious by the 6" on the ruler, the longest object in the set. Use your sense and reading skills before you buy. Look at the photos. Of course this is small. That is what I needed.I bought this to put in my needlework bag and then found the items also work in my pencil bag for sketching. I have nice, clean lines, good 90 degree corners, etc. I did not have any bumps on the edges, and while that is NOT forgiveable, if I had, I would have used a nail file to smooth them.The thing that does bother me is that the numbers and lines are all flat. Nothing raised, so that the numbers (from past experience) tend to rub off and then you are left with a useless set. However, I did try using my thumb nail on one line and I was not able to scratch off the ink, so maybe I am worrying about nothing.I paid $4.19 for the set and feel it is a reasonable price for the set AND shipping, which was built into the price. I also know Amazon will take this back without a return fee,"Free Returns", which is listed on the product page as well, so you really lose nothing if you want to try it.

Great for drafting

Considering the price point, this is a reasonably good product. I was looking for portability, something to throw in my kit of drawing & sketching tools. Haven't had it long enough to know how durable the markings might be. Since they are printed rather than etched, I suspect they'll wear off sooner than later. As others have noted, there is a rough spot where the pieces were removed from the mold spruces or runners during the manufacturing process. I was able to very gently smooth it out with a very fine emery board & buffing tool designed for finger nails but used by modelers. (No longer as inexpensive as before.) Bottom line: just fine for their intended purpose.

Good price, particularly when on sale for a >50% discount. I needed a protractor, and a right angle guide, and these do the job. They arrived intact and undamaged.I saw some 1 star reviews about the markings not being straight, but mine were OK. I did notice 1 small burr on each item, probably where they are attached to a larger sheet of plastic to be trimmed off during manufacturing. But the burrs on mine are not as big as what some 1 star reviews describe. It's not difficult to file or sand smooth, but only if you have the tools at home.

Looks like a quality item be sure to check the size of this item I didn’t read careful enough it is quite small I can use it but not as large as I wanted
