I use this magnet hooked up to an engine crane. I pick up 1/8" to 1/2" 4x4 plate for my plasma table with ease. If you're going to use thinner material you're going to want to get two of these on an I-beam system because materials is going to bend bowflex and it will break the bond of the magnet

This Vevor magnet is great for moving metal around the shop. It has a double action safety locking handle so it won’t disengage. That’s a 4’x4’x5/8” carbon plate in the pic. It’s like having extra help around. I’m very satisfied with my Vevor magnet. 👍

Only works on flat surfaces. Will not hold on surfaces like manhole covers

Good magnet but if metal bend it will come off. I was picking 14ga and when the end dropped it released. But it's strong and works well

I returned 2 of these because they would not hold a piece of 10 gauge sheet.

The magnet is strong. However, the 3x3 1/4 plate I was trying to pick up would just slide along the magnet

I stick these onto the side of ships and tie our work boat to them. Allows me to tie up anywhere to preform various jobs and repairs. They have no problem holding us in position even when there is wind and waves.These work well.

This is a very powerful magnet. I have used this to lift and drag steel beams . Best place to put this magnet is on the flanges of beams ( put it in the web to separate beams but it can lift the beam below). Make sure you place it on a flat surface, the thicker the material the better the magnetism . Don't place on the side and make sure there is no chance of bounce from travelling over ground if the material is close to magnet limit. The handle to 'switch' the magnet on is easy to use , but there is a limit to height of flanges if you place it on the web, hence place magnet on flanges of beams

Qualità mediocre ma in linea con le aspettative dato il costo basso (pagata 92 euro). Ho testato il sollevatore fissandolo a una superficie verniciata e tirando fino a circa 490 kgf ed è rimasto saldo. Gli aspetti che ho trovato migliorabili sono:- il foro del golfare presentava bava non rimossa.- la vite della leva è troppo corta e si rischia di sbanare la filettatura avvitandola, meglio sostituirla.- l' imballo è arrivato divelto e il sollevatore aveva vernice scheggiata in più parti.- verniciatura sommaria, ma in linea con il tipo di prodotto e relativo costo.- la leva e il relativo dente di sgancio non è bene in asse con il rispettivo fermo, ma funziona ugualmente.- il funzionamento della leva non è fluido, tende a incepparsi in alcuni punti, probabilmente per lavorazioni approssimative della parte interna, ma si riesce ad azionare ugualmente.In conclusione va bene per quello che costa, per un attività artigianale o per uso privato, non mi aspetterei di vederlo in un'azienda di livello, ma questo è generalmente applicabile a prodotti di importazione, specie negli accessori per il sollevamento. Io ne faccio uso privato, quindi per me va più che bene.
