I use this everyday, mostly with my hair wet, but sometimes while my hair is dry to pull it back or comb out the tangles that sneak in over my day. I like the brush grip, I love the teal color, and I’m satisfied with how it works for me. That said, the brush does seem even more effective with my shoulder length hair than when my hair was long.I have thick hair, so when my hair was long it was difficult to get the brush through all the layers. When I shifted my long hair, I’d inevitably locate more tangles. However, I was also admittedly overdue for a haircut at that point.I do replace the brush regularly though, especially if the hair builds up to where it can’t be entirely removed or if I damage the bristles while combing out stubborn tangles. This is my third brush over the weekend years, but so far it’s still my preferred hairbrush. I’m predicting it may last longer with my shorter hair too as there are less tangles to fight.

I got this brush because I wanted something wide and sturdy for my naturally coarse, long hair. I will use my Tymo Ring straightener now and then, but this brush and my "Conair Salon Brush for Men and Women" are my go-tos because they move through my natural hair smoother than some other brushes I have tried. This brush helps to keep my hair's natural oil, soft, and manageable feel when I use it after the straightener brush, and with daily brushing before styling my hair. Both brushes work great. They are sturdy and comfortable brushes for daily use. The price was awesome. I have been using Conair products for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. Yes, I would recommend them for gifts.

This brush is quite effective, but it can lead to frizz in your hair, so caution is advised. I previously used a Conair brush, which I ultimately had to throw away because of stubborn buildup that was difficult to clean. Overall, this brush performs reasonably well.

Bought this brush cause I have one and like it. This one is for the new family member, The Sheltie. The dog brushes I've seen don't have the protective balls on the end to protect the dog from getting scratched. This brush will be great for the dog and the price is wonderful.

Classic brush... Hope it lives as long as my old one.....( had it for over 10 years) I have arthritis, like the grip. Works great on my longer hair.

I have used this style of Conair brushes for some time. It is comfortable and solidly made.

Some of the bristles are tweaked and pointing in the wrong direction. I’m hoping over time it settles into where it should be. The brush is alright, nothing special, does the job.
