More sturdy than some reviews say
We bought this for its ease of install and removal. Once the initial setup is done the subsequent install and removals will only take maybe 10 seconds , which is what we were hoping for. The barrier is a little wobbly when uninstalled, but once in and secured it is pretty solid for being plastic.I suppose if you had a big dog who bashed into it a bunch it may be able to be knocked down/ broke. We have a large dog who uses it fine without any issues. Very happy with this barrier and would definitely buy again. Also the feet are nice and wide and do not damage anything (Subaru Outback) as other reviews had mentioned.

We'll see ... expectations given to Weather Tech engineering quality
In summary, I honestly expected more from Weather Tech for $119.Assembly was only 20 minutes, including removing the top "hands" that hold fast on the headliner. Study the directions, take the parts and lay them on the floor, follow instructions as you are assembling. Hint. You have to unscrew the "hands" and take off the cups, pull out one of the screws to use on the pole holders. Just loosen the screw enough to slide the round, rubber hand off the pole. If you take the screw all the way out, the keeper it screws into will drop, inside the tube, causing having to juggle getting it back onto the hand screw.Regarding size, in my 2021 F150, the poles are too short to hold the barrier fast to the floor & headliner. I had to buy some 2" furniture lifts to place under the foot of the poles. It's cheaper, and frankly it may be better than the extension available to purchase along with the barrier.Regarding stability, I purchased some 6" Velcro straps & wrapped the poles and the headrest supports to give stability to the poles. My dog weighs over 65# & I have no faith it will restrain her as purchased.About durability, if is comes apart, I'll report it. Otherwise, I expect it to perform as any other Weather Tech engineered product. That also credits Weather Tech for an expectation of their quality product standards.Another note. With my 65# dog, I doubt I need to buy another $50 bar.

This is a good one
This dog barrier works perfect in my Ford Explorer. It fits snug, the large rubber feet are not hurting my car’s roof. It doesn’t rattle at all which is why I spent a little more for this brand, and I’m glad I did. Everything on it is adjustable, so should fit a variety of vehicles. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble it.

Very unstable/unusable
Unless you’re using this product in a perfectly square box, don’t buy it. It doesn’t fit with the curvature of the roof of our vehicle (or any vehicle), as the roof isn’t perfectly flat and the top pieces won’t lay flush/tight to any surface. The tightening option also broke when trying to make the product stay in place. With that, if your dog wants to push through it, it will and it’ll knock it over easily bc it can’t fit tight due to not being able to go flat against the roof, rendering it to easily slip out of place. Our dog is a lab. The cross member bars also don’t stay in place very well. This company generally produces great floor mats but this isn’t their niche. I do not recommend, you don’t be happy when it doesn’t work/fit.

KEEPS PUPPY WHERE HE BELONGS
It was relatively easy to install. Does the job to keep my dog where I put him. Adjustable to fit space. I would not use if I had to take it in and out frequently.

plastic slide extension broke easily
I purchased this product for ensure my two labs stayed in the back of my Suburban. Because of the width of the suburban, I had to extend the extension arms quite a bit, and one of them broke easily as one of my dogs attempted to get through around the back seat. The rest of the barrier is made well and fits well in my car. Had the extension arms been aluminum like the rest of the barrier, this wouldn't have happened. This unit took me about 45 minutes to assemble. Ultimately, it does the trick because the dogs do not attempt to get through any longer, but the craftsmanship is not what I expected from Weathertech.

So far so good
Install was a breeze. We specifically chose this barrier over the less expensive ones because there was almost zero assembly required. From box to back of our SUV was a total of a few minutes. Really easy to uninstall as well. I'd recommend on that fact alone. So far with a week worth of use, it holds up well. The only issue we have encountered is our old lab can get some weight on the bottom bar and move it ever so slightly down... enough that his head can rest in between the bar if he really wants to bad enough. We have tightened this bottom section several times, but his thick head manages to get it open a tad. He always had free reign of our older cars, so he just isn't used to being caged up yet. No road noise to report either. Our dog is contained and our brand new car appears to somewhat safe from our hairy monster.
