Really good detachable castors
I had no idea that these existed, I was looking for something that would allow my daughter's high-sleeper bed to be moved when needed, without being wobbly at bedtime, and these are exactly the right thing. The mounting plates attach with a couple of through bolts, and then the castor assembly slides in and locks in just a few moments. Raising the bed is easy, and once all four legs are up it moves really smoothly and easily, the castors move and turn without any effort at all. Then the bed can be lowered and the castors removed completely in another few moments, so there's nothing to trip or catch on. They look and feel really sturdy and well-made, and aren't too expensive given the quality and usefulness. Recommended.

Very good castors on one level only!
I needed these castors to move my heavy workbench outside going over a small ramp over door threshold when I'm at home when the weather is good. You need to lift bench up to the ramp(10mm or so) but the castors by their design do not hold firm. To be clear this is probably an oversight on my behalf. I should have researched this point more. So in closing these castors are of good build quality, are sturdy, are easy to install, will move heavy weight easily on one level but in my case not over a small ramp. I have kept castors and may use on something else! Hope this helps.

Good castors, but instructions contain error.
Good sturdy castors, and very much cheaper than the Axminster ones which I had first considered. Fairly easy to fit too, once I realised that the instructions were wrong. So 2 observations: 1) the instructions say that the fixing holes are one-and-a-half inches apart. They are not. They are one-and-a-quarter inches apart. An easy mistake to make, I do that sort of thing all the time. Spent some time scratching my head before I realised this. Luckily life has taught me to do one trial fitting, which in this case meant drilling one set of holes, before tackling the whole job. 2) also tricky tightening the nuts which hold the castor wheel assembly to the bracket. There is not enough clearance to get a spanner in, to hold the lower nut while tightening the upper. I am going to have another go at this and try inserting some washers to give more space. Having said which, my heavy Beech workbench now glides easily across my stone-flagged workshop floor, so yes, I'd recommend them.

Awesome workbench mobility
I added these to my fairly heavy workbench. Really easy to install following accurate and easy instructions. One fail, hence 4 starts for the install, is the supplied screws are rubbish and the first one sheared the head off. I replaced all with good quality wood screws and the installation went very well. The raise and lower function seems robust enough, very easy to raise the bench and once lowered the wheels merely rest on the floor. Up on the wheels is amazing, I can move my bench very easily indeed, no more hernia!

Very easy to use and they seem very sturdy as well
Installation was quite straightforward even on an already assembled and used bench. In my case I built a while ago a workbench for model crafting. The structure is quite big and fairly heavy, even though not even close to the load capacity of these casters. Once installed, the lever mechanism makes lifting the workbench a breeze. Once all the legs are lifted it is quite easy to move around the bench. The only detail I can complain about is with the lever itself when disengaged gets very close to the leg of the bench, and sometimes I need to bend over to move it a little because there is no space for my foot to push it down. Again, this is very minor, but I would have loved these casters even more if I could using them consistently only with my feet.

Good in theory
Product appears to be good. What let's it down is the hardware that comes with it. Every screw head is slightly bent so a few were easily stripped. Also one nut for wheel was missing. This let's down the whole product as it appears to be of good quality and should work good

Really good set of wheels!
I bought these wheels to fit onto an 8 ‘x 3’ workbench. The wheels were easy to fit and work really well. They make it simple to move the bench. the one criticism I would have is that the supplied screws are rubbish - the heads chewed up. Why spoil the product by putting in poor quality screws?

Strong and stable
I've been building a work bench with integrated table saw and these are just what I was looking for. The bench is heavy, but these roll it around in the concrete floor with ease. They are a great design as when the bench is moved into position I can flip up the levers and it sits firmly on the legs rather than the casters, making a much more solid bench that won't shift around. Pushing down on the levers raised the bench up onto the casters and away you go. Instructions are good and clear, everything seems well made. I saw some reviews saying the screws were soft but I had no problems with them. Drilled a 2.5mm pilot hole and made sure to use a Phillips bit (not Pozi!) in my impact driver and they went in a treat. Overall, but pricey compared with normal castors, but well worth it for the stability when you retract them.
