Perfect tool for your van
One of the best bits of kit I have purchased for my day job. It functions perfectly giving me that 5mm cut rather than having to go through so many router bits cutting the full 35mm cut. The cut looks more modern than the traditional mason mitres. Most worktops these days don't have much of a bullnose and are usually squared edge or have very little bullnose, so this looks neat and of course saves time. It is well made and good value for money beating other branded jigs. This jig also handles out of square joins which is a must on most jobs in an older home where the walls have been badle plastered over the years.

Worked Extremely Well - Solid Product
I'm not a professional kitchen fitter although I've done a few over the last few years. And I've done a few worktops as well albeit with a lot of measuring, remeasuring and checking a hundred times....In this case I was doing my daughters kitchen and she had a more square edged 20mm laminate worktop to do. In this case a small radius masons mitre was the best option and thus I looked around and found this jig.Made in the UK from good quality materials and accurately CNC'd. Whilst not cheap, compared to the same made by others from the same materials it's a bargain I can tell you.Setup is of course everything and the one thing missing in my package was instructions. They are online which is fine but I had to check on my phone and what I should have done was download and print them. If you have done this job before using other jigs then it's similar except that due to being able to put this anywhere on the edge you have setup pins which you remove once clamped. It's slightly different to the jig I use in larger curve worktops. Anyway, read the instructions and understand them is my advice.Once set up the jig is solid and allows for a secure routing of the edges with a perfect mitre joint achieved if you have laid it out correctly.Overall, excellent bit of kit for small radii tops.

Good product, but beware!........
Not all worktops are the same! I used this on one and didn't notice that the radius was a bit greater than those supplied by my usual vendor choice. Anyway, I cut the mitre and fitted the sink and installed the run (I needed to get the sink in that afternoon) when I cut the male joint and mated it up I noticed there was still a fraction of the edge round still there. This meant the joint fitted correctly but it "dipped" slightly. I couldn't take the worktop back out because it had all the plumbing connected! Fortunately most of the joint was covered by a boiler housing and it didn't look so bad. I still don't know why these things are used to cut mitres on square edged worktops though, maybe for the keyholes, yes, but why mitre a square edge when butt jointing is quicker.

Looks good quality but no instructions
It looks very well made but doesn’t come with any instructions, just a sheet of paper telling you how it works differently to most jigs and that you should download and read the instructions before use.If you’re going to the effort of printing out and including a warning notice you could just print out and include the instructions? Then the sheet of paper firstly has a typo in the website URL that you have to fix to find the website. There is no manufacturers name printed on the tool itself. The website looks like it is straight out of the 90’s and does not appear to include any instructions on it anywhere, just one page brochures about the product.I’ve only done a straight cut and clamp cuts so far so have worked it out but not looking forward to trying to work out the corner cuts.Only buy this if you are happy you can work out how to use it yourself.

Not long enough
Hi, cut joint well enough but jig needs to be at least 75mm longer so you can use conventional clamps

Solidly built and easy to use
A very solid jig designed specifically for the newer design of sharper edged worktops. The laminated jig provide a frictionless surface for the router to glide over providing a better feel for the cutting action and therefore a cleaner and crisp cutting line.A cautionary note. The bolt keyway jig does not use pegs. Instead the edge of the jig is lined up with the worktop edge. This works well for the majority of worktop bolts, but there a some where the distance between ends might be a little long. This is true for those with plastic inserts. If using these bolts it may be prudent to offset the jig by a couple of millimetres on each side. I found this to late but although it was a bit of a stretch for the bolt I was still able to lock the two worktops together.
