I really like the color and quality of this tie! It’s a bit on the long side for smaller kids, but that can be easily solved by tying a bigger knot and tucking it under a vest/waistcoat. Looks very sharp and it will probably last through a couple of growth spurts :)

My advice? Buy the Navy textured variety for 8-14 year old boys. We purchased both the solid red for a 10 year old’s school Christmas pageant and the Navy and the difference between the two was surprising. The solid red looks fine but it was thinner and less luxurious. The Navy looks and feels like one of dad’s premium silk ties and includes a matching handkerchief. Length and quality is perfect considering the price. For reference, our son is 10

Worked for sons confirmation 8th grade with room to grow. Like any silky tie it tends to slide down a little on the knot. I would buy again!

This tie was perfect for my 15 year old son. He doesn’t fit into mens yet, but kids ties have been too short.

I bought this tie for my son's First Communion. It's beautiful, came packaged in plastic to avoid getting dirty (a huge plus!), and was more than long enough for my 7 almost 8 year old. My son preferred another tie, one that wasn't "shiny", so this one is being returned. I do worry about how well this one would have held up due to the stitching on the back. My rough and tough son was going to have to wear his full outfit 3 times total and I'm not sure this tie would have survived without needing fixed. But I could be wrong.

This was a "first tie" gift for a tween, and he was thrilled with it. It's nicely made and properly finished, and comes in a gift box with instructions too.The length is more appropriate for teens though - it seems to be close to full length, so it might be too long for anyone under 12.

I ordered the peach satin tie to go with a light gray suit for my 3-year old grandson for his 4th birthday in August. I received an empty package. I contacted the seller right away and another package was sent out immediately and I received it within a few days. The tie is a beautiful color in a rich peach satin and looks to be of very good quality. I am pleased.

I bought the tie for my son’s band concert, not realizing my husband would be away at the time 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was SO pleased to find pictures instructions on how to tie a tie on the back of the box! I practiced a few times on myself with very little cursing. When the day came it took me 2 tries and it looked pretty good if I do say so myself. He’s in middle school and will be able to use this for a few years at least (unless he hits a major growth spurt and shoots up a foot).
