Pangaea S100 Single Automatic Metal Watch Winder - Silver (Battery Operated or AC Powered)

First off - it's great looking. Unfortunately, for me, this is where the upside stops. Stopped working the second day. Motor seized. Wouldn't turn. Wore the batteries right out. Could have just been mine. But, I chose to replace it with another more expensive competing product that works tons better. The other product has a battery that lasts for 5 years. Other product has a methodology which is superior and uses less power. It costs more - too bad for me. You get what you pay for, I guess.Otherwise, problems here are the location of the switch, which is hidden, but inconvenient. Placing the watch in the mechanism is more complicated than it should be. (Other product is easier.) Wanted this to work better because it's attractively priced. Seems it could be better engineered.If yours works, cool. I hope they all don't break on the second day.

After struggling through how to mount a watch on the winder it appears to be working. The operation guide lacks clear institutions on how to use the product. There seems to be a watch pillow included with no clear reason for using it. Time will tell if the winder will work well.

The screw continues to come out at the base causing the item to do nothing. I have to keep replacing the screw that holds the part that turns. I contacted the seller about this and they said it was out of the return time so nothing they would do.

I bought the Pangaea S100 watch winder as it had a battery operated option. The watch winder looks very nice and I especially like the metal casing. It works well and is very quiet - I am very happy with my purchase.

Its ok, too expensive

works as advertised great item would recommend. instruction booklet could have more information, item was packaged decently and received with no damages.
