These things are a great price. They only last about a year, but every year they are cheaper. Part of me hates them, because I think "this is the year I get a new projector" then I see how cheap the bulb is and just get that instead.

Worked fine for a week or two, then began to get dimmer and dimmer to the point it was unusable after about a month.

So far the new bulb has operated flawlessly. Color and focus is consistent with a new bulb. I only have 20 hours operation, so can not comment on long term longevity yet. I would recommend this item as an alternative to the more expensive factory bulb. UPDATE: 12/03/15 After 6 months the bulb began to project a blue hue in the middle of the viewing area. After a year, It still operates, but now has an annoying blue semi-circle around the lower half of the picture. I've lowered the rating due to this. I am now in the process of purchasing a genuine bulb and housing to replace this one. I no longer recommend this item. UPDATE: 12/05/15- Well, I have to revise my review again about this bulb. I did purchase and install a new, more expensive, genuine bulb. Unfortunately for me, the blue semi-circle is still present. This means I have something with my projector causing the issue... not the bulb. Because of this, it's only fair to change my previous update, and again recommend this lamp. I have approximately 720 hours so far on this bulb.

It's works fit was was perfect price was right. Image is bright .. The real question is how long will it last? I will update later

Two of these bulbs have failed for me in less than the 6 month warranty period. The seller was great and quickly sent a replacement when the first bulb blew shortly after it was installed. The second bulb failed with a loud pop and plenty of acrid smoke just 5 months and 3 weeks after the original purchase. This is two bulbs that have failed in less than 6 months. I have requested yet another of these poor quality bulbs with a full 6 month warranty or refund of my $129.04. I wonder what the seller will do now?

So Far, So Good... I only have a couple months on this lamp, and if it went south tomorrow, I'd be ahead. Great deal.

Bought it a couple months ago and just now installed it and it lasted less than 4 hours and then popped!!! What a rip off joke of a product. How can Amazon even allow them to sell this crap!
