Q: Can you squeeze water out of the tube for a thirsty dog?

You can. I do this to wet a towel - just keep the tube below the reservoir and squeeze the end and water will flow out.

Q: What makes it a mens pak? would this work for a women as well? I prefer the look of this bag so much more than the women version.

I own it and I’m a woman. I have the black and blue colored one. I love it.

Q: will it fit a 46 waist?

I mostly wear it without the waist strap, but it gets long enough that 46" shouldn't be a problem
