what's the limit for shipping? it can't be shipped to Chicago. why? what wrong with the item?

Amazon has a real problem with scam "sellers" of camera equipment on their site -- the gig seems to be that they put an email address in the seller description in order to communicate with you outside of Amazon, where they will try to get you to buy Amazon gift cards to submit to them through email. Of course, they won't ship you the items if you send them funds in this unverifiable way. I went through this process with one seller to see what the game was (I did not complete the "purchase"). The seller referred to the gift cards as "Amazon Payments", but Amazon Payments is something different. You will have no recourse if you send funds this way. Some may put rediculous restrictions on shipping (like your issue) to avoid getting dinged for not completing transactions through Amazon. It's a way they can try to avoid automatic detection by Amazon.

What is the cheapest canon digital EOS SLR that has full frame image sensor?

Canon 5D classic or mk 1 has no video recording capability. Only for pictures… Else with video recorder, Canon 5d Mk II or 6D.

Is there an adaptor for using EFS lenses on this camera?

No. An EF-S lens is made specifically for the smaller APS-C sensor size. This APS-C sensor is *around* 23x15mm. The 6D has a larger full frame sensor, which is about 36x24mm. If someone *did* build an adapter, the edges of the photo would be black since the EF-S lens couldn't fill the larger sensor.
