One bead around the underside of denim patch works best, then seal around the outer edge, will withstand a few clothes washing cycles, then if the edge does start to lift , just glue some again. This is good stuff. My sewing machine works good ,but this saves time on old work jeans that I want to get more use out of. Working around barb wire and machinery shortens the life of jeans or coveralls and this prolongs the life.

Great for crochet
Bought this to add extra stability for a crochet blanket I made. Be careful when squeezing the bottle because quite a bit comes out - I put the glue on a small plate and dabbed it onto the areas I wanted to secure with a Q-tip to prevent over-saturating the yarn. I let it dry for about full day then tested the durability by putting the blanket through a gentle wash cycle and hanging to dry. The glue held up well but some parts came out a little white - likely because I applied too much glue.

Worked to stabilize some knit jersey material
I purchased this because it says it is for stretchable fabric and it is washable. The fine print says you can only hand wash and line dry. Since I was using this to make some no-sew face coverings, I wanted to be able to throw them in the washer and dryer with towels. I did test one that I washed on cold and dried on low heat, and the adhesive seemed to hold ok, but I ended up sewing the edges of the masks together just to be safe. Ultimately, the adhesive wasn't necessary, but it did help hold the pieces together and made sewing much easier since I didn't have to worry about stretching the layers unevenly. The adhesive dries a little stiff feeling, but does have some stretch. Use sparingly on dark fabric as it doesn't dry completely clear.

Clear and flexible
I use this to secure the knots on yarn when I am crocheting. It comes out white and dries clear and flexible. I only need a very small amount for the knots. I usually put a bit on a piece of foil and use a toothpick for application as it comes out pretty quickly from the bottle. It washes just fine and stays clear and flexible. I have always used Aleeneโs glues and have never had any problems.

Waste of Money
Did you know that VS front-close sports bras are GLUED together in the back? I sure didn't when I paid $50 apiece for them! When I had two split apart in the back and I realized it was glued, I thought, "Well, at least any dummy can repair them!" So, to Amazon I went to find some glue for stretchy fabrics. I bought this glue (Aleene's 15592 FLEXABLE Stretchable Glue 4OZ. 36.CS) because it said it was specifically for stretchy fabrics and it had good overall reviews... Let me tell you how disappointed I am with this product. It most certainly does NOT work well for stretchy fabrics. I glued my clean fabric and let it set for over 48 hours. It didn't even hold for one day before the fabric looked exactly as it did before, unglued. I tried it on TWO garments and had the same results on both. Do not buy for use on stretchy fabrics.

Nice glue for fabric
If you're a sewer/crafter, this fabric glue dries clear most of the time, holds and stretches with the fabric. Washes well after completely dry. It does not have a bad smell which is a good thing. I recommend it.

Works on stopping holes, but seems to bled thru to both side of fabric
Bought it to try to contain / stop a small hole developing in a shirt. I applied it on back side, after smoothing edges to close the hole. It works and seems to survive wash, but I was disappointed in that it bled thru to the front, showing the glue circle around the hole. I was hoping it would be a lot less visible. So in nutshell, it seems to be holding fine, but dont use too much or it will bled / soak thru to both sides of fabric.

It's very good quality and holds nylon/stretch fabrics well together. You just have to learn how to use it first. You have to stretch the fabric that you're trying to glue together then add a generous amount of glue and press together and let air dry. It takes 24 hours to dry and 7 days to set without washing the fabric.

Amazing for quick fabric repairs or even to assist pre sewing the fabric. Great value too!
