A good primer / introduction to Bonsai. I read this after reading Bonsai 101 Essential Tips. It expands upon all the key parts of getting into bonsai with some nice pictures. After reading this, you should be able to start doing some of the things discussed in the book.

As a beginner into the field of Bonsai, I found this to be quite informative and easy to follow. I would certainly recommend it.

This book is awesome. It has a lot of useful information without all the "filler" that most other books come with. It comes with great information on the many variaties of all bonsai!

It does give some useful information but lacks detail... But the title does say Bonsai basics... The book might be useful for some but I didn't find it very helpful.

This has a lot of information in it that is very helpful if you are new to working with bonsai trees.

This book is very helpful, I learned a lot from it.
