Water Temp Joint Pipe, 32mm Car Coolant Temperature Adapter Water Coolant Temp Adapter Temperature Joint Pipe Hose Sensor Gauge Black(32mm)

To monitor coolant temperature in my car engine, I installed this joint pipe into the top radiator hose. A simple process of cutting a short section out of the hose , then a perfect easy push-fit for the ends of the hose onto the joint piece, and then securing with provided circular clips. Manufacturer provided size diameter guide to suit intended hose size for ordering purposes ... useful ! A 'threaded' insert is on top of the adaptor for a temperature sensor to be screwed in, to come in contact with the coolant ,and which can be wire connected to a suitable dial gauge. A screw down fixing is also attached to the adaptor for earthing the sensor. A solidly made little item . Does the job. Compatible screw-in sensors also available on Amazon, as are dial gauges and low amperage connecting wire. Really pleased !

I needed one of these as the aftermarket water temperature gauge I'd fitted to my classic car was reading too high due to the sender being mounted directly into the block. This was exactly what I needed to solve the problem and get it reading correctly.

Good value and well finished, it's just a pity the supplied clamps are useless - for the 36mm hose adapter, the hose clamps just fit over the bare hose whch means they dont fit once the hose is fitted over the adapter.

Product came with small jubilee clips which did not go round the inlet hose, if the inlet hose is 38mm then the clips need to be larger than the 40mm which came with it, if it had come with the correction sized clips then I would of given it a 5*

Instructions not great but product works fine make sure you earth it

Do 5 stelle perchè il prodotto è di buona qualità e il tempo per la spedizione è stato rapidissimo, solo un giorno. L' unica cosa è che viene venduto come universale ma non tutti i bulbi per la temperatura sono da 1/8, come nel mio caso era M10x1 quindi ho dovuto rifare il filetto con il maschio. Consiglio di verificare il proprio bulbo prima cosi si è già preparati. Funziona bene, lo consiglio.
