Best prunes I've ever tasted
They are delicious, full of flavour, and now I can't stop eating them. They are sun-dried and not rehydrated, so a little chewy, but that's not a bad thing. I don't think I can get back to the mushy stuff you get at the supermarket after eating these.

Very full of fruity flavour
Not only organic but these wild dried plums (prunes) are delicious! They have far more flavour than I ever tasted in any other prunes. Chewy but that just prolonged the pleasure of the excellent flavour.

Need lots of simmering till tender
I've updated my review from 4 to 5* as we've found that with carefully tended, gentle simmering in 50/50 water and prune juice, these prunes swell and soften to produce large fruits that are beyond compare and which work really well as an aid to digestion. They are sun dried, natural and organic and bursting with healthy nutrients. The extra cost is well worthwhile for the size and quality of the fruit.ORIGINAL REVIEWThese are a completely different kind of "prune" and require quite a lot of simmering till tender. We do this in prune juice (the Sunsweet or Benefit brands seems the best) and the resultant product is rather special. We also buy large Bulgarian organic prunes which are softer and which we have become our firm favourites, but these also are very good, being highly unusual and well worth trying. They are all so very different from the sticky soft prunes that come from many supermarkets and even from the more expensive "Agen" prunes. If you need prunes for constipation, my experience is that all will work, bur that the organic varieties are far more effective. I'd recommend you to try these and look out for the Bulgarian product from the excellent Zoya brand.

Definetly not!
I found these prunes to be very dry, tough and not pleasant at all to eat. Very disappointing! I like to eat them raw and uncooked and with these this is not possible.

Organic
Once soaked and gently simmered, these prune are really big. They taste delicious. Will certainly buy again.

Proper dried prunes!
I've been looking for proper, old-fashioned style prunes for a while now and I've finally found them! They aren't too sweet and need overnight soaking, when they plump up really well. They seem quite expensive but because they are much drier than the ones you get in the supermarkets they are very good value for money as you get so many more.

Sun dried prunes
Very disappointed with the quality, because the sun dried prunes are clearly not sun dried. Its totally different than we ordered 2023/22( it was very tasty and sun dried π. )

Delicious seedless prunes without chemical preservatives
Wanted to find prunes with no sulfites and nasty chemical preservatives added. This is a huge bag of tangy, dried but slightly moist prunes. Nothing like the supermarket variety. I could eat handfuls of these but that would be unwise as we know! Really love that these are less wet and less sweet. Perfect for adding to cereals and granola, etc. Probably great for baking and if you wanted sweeter, you could probably stew with sugar or honey but these are perfect for me as they are.
