Active Hydrating Cream Face Moisturizer, 1.9 fl oz

I have been using this since my late 20s. I am 72 now and my skin has very few wrinkles. It is light, smells great not oily and the price is right. It has not been changed in all these years. I highly recommend this product.

So, I don't care for facial creams and would rather use coco butter lotion. Facial creams have changed over the years and I hate that. I feel like they are water based with added alcohol and this why our face drys quicker and sometimes can make our skin irritated. This Olay facial cream takes me back to when I was a child and my mother would use it. It feels good going on and smells the same as I remember🩷🩷 I just applied and it's been on for about 20 minutes. My face feels hydrated but not overly oily. Nice and smooth with a pleasant smell. I wish the bottle was bigger but it's a great product. I'm going to commit to this Olay Active Hydrating facial cream!! I love it!! Hope it doesn't change over the years🙏🏽🙏🏽 Notice .....key word .... Facial Cream not Facial lotion. I first used this Ole cream when I was 13 and I hadn’t read the ingredients or the benefits it had to the skin. I simply used it each day and each night as recommended and it worked wonders for my young skin. I suffered from dryness and whiteheads mostly due to adolescent change and lack of water, but this helped my skin tremendously. This is my fourth time purchasing it, but I was a little thrown off by the chemical Change. Supposedly they added a new ingredient. I’m not sure what it is but compared to my other jars it is a new color it’s pinker and a bit thicker. The smell is still the same, but the new packaging threw me off as well. If you’re suffering from minor skin issues I do recommend this. It is reliable to me and it promotes healthy looking skin. It has no issues and it lasts me a up to 8 weeks each time. I switched between facial creams these last few months, but I found myself coming back to Olay and it didn’t disappoint.

I've been using this cream after showering and for soothing my skin after I shave. Using only a small amount per application, this cream does a nice job of keeping my face from drying out, yet it prevents my face from becoming overly oily towards the end of the day. Like all good facial moisturizers, this is a non-comedogenic formula, which for those wondering what that means, won't clog your pores. And as I mentioned above, while a little bit goes a long way, I've accidentally scooped more than I intended, and my face still didn't feel oily. Some reviewers have mentioned they do not care for the fragrance, and while I'd prefer a more neutral scent, it isn't overpowering or offsetting to the point I become self-conscious or would not want to use it. I had my wife give me the smell test, and she didn't notice anything overly "flowery". Upon application, the smell is more distinctive, as it's concentrated on your hands, and many people start by applying cream on and under their noses, where you'll certainly notice the powdery fresh scent. However, in my experience of using a small amount and rubbing the cream into my face and neck, the scent is negligible, and much less offensive than some of the after shave balms I've used. Olay's a great brand that's been around a long time, and I'm glad they offer an inexpensive moisturizer I can use without feeling like I'm wearing perfume. I still have moisturizers from other companies that cost quite a bit more than this jar does, and I honestly do not feel there's a $15.00 benefit to the higher priced creams, other than a more musky smell. So, what do I like about it? It works great keeping my skin moisturized, without making my skin feel too greasy. It's also inexpensive, and it won't clog your pores. What do I think could be better? I would like a moisturizer to serve its purpose without adding fragrance. But, since I use a small amount, it's not enough of a negative to prevent me from using this product. I intend to continue using this cream, and will likely purchase more in the future, which I might have to do since my wife has essentially stolen it from me.

Olay Active Hydrating Cream is so smooth and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. Lightweight. It gives my skin long-lasting moisture and a soft, healthy look. A classic, dependable moisturizer that works great under makeup or on its own.

This active hydrating cream, when apply to your face leave your skin soft without any residue and after applied it leave that beautiful glow that absorbs into your pours giving you a esthetic appearance without any stickiness; the size is ok, highly recommended.

There’s a reason this cream is still around and Olay continues to expand the product line. I’ve tried so many creams over the years; drugstore brands to higher end brands; none lived up to their claims and I’ve always gone back to Olay. Excellent product that does what it claims at a really reasonable price.

OMG my face feels so good using this. The older I've gotten the drier I've gotten and the moisture for my skin is fantastic. This is the same as the original that came out in the 70's. Quality at its best

I have been using Olay since I was 20 or 21, I swear on this type of olay the most, it starts out as a cream then it feels like as it hydrates there is a soft light powder, my face feels hydrated and supple all day. This price cant be beat. I also want to point out that when I opened the jar it was full up to the to. You know how some products ( whatever it may be) is less full of product than the container is? Well this is full to the top. I don't so much care about price as I do how much product im paying for so knowing im paying for a full 10 dollar jar of cream will keep me coming back. Not paying for the jar or the brand name, just getting exactly what your paying for.
