A gluten-free fast, delicious whole-food carb
I use this like a whole grain, but it is not a grain at all. I love the slightly sour taste, an outcome of it being fermented, like yogurt. I eat a lot of whole grains, and I soak them overnight or at least a few hours. Then most of them have to cook a long time. But when I have not soaked any grains and I am busy and hungry, I am grateful to have this on hand because it is already cooked, so it provides a fast meal. It does have a better texture when it is soaked, but only needs to be soaked for about 10 minutes. Then I boil it a short time to make it softer, or I add it to vegetables while they are cooking. So this gives me a rapid, healthy carbohydrate. It is gluten-free, and one packet makes a lot. You can dress it up any way you want; but because of its mildly sour taste it is good as is, unlike grains, which are bland. I like best to mix it with cooked vegetables. I have introduced a few of my friends to this food.

Yummy!!
Delish!! We eat this in the side with fish. We cut up cucumber, tomato, onion, crushed beef bullion for seasoning and olive oil! Yummy!!

Delicious
My second order. This is perfect with any grilled meat or seafood (made this with tilapia, maquerel, shrimps and pork belly) accompanied with a simple tomatoe onion cucumber peppers salad and mayo blend. For those who complain about it being sour, you should look up videos on youtube on how to cook it properly. You have to add spices in it. Could be as simple as olive oil and salt or as complex as butter maggie and black pepper. This will drastically change the taste. Make sure you cook it in hot water and then pass it for a few minute in the microwave.

Satisfied
The product is good , you just need to know how to cook it . Watch video on YouTube add some spice like salt , oil , magie to take of the sour taste . Because yuca fermentation is very strong so you need to cook it . Thanks!

Will no longer buy this food
The last two purchases were horrible. The white attieke tastes fine, but unfortunately the yellow attieke tastes pretty bad. I regret wasting my money again
