I used it 1-2x per week for 4 months, nearly always as an overnight mask. In short, Olaplex is legit. It really does do what it says it does. But you know what? Pronexa does it better. Honestly, I only bought Pronexa because it is marginally more affordable than Olaplex - that's it. So far, I've only used it once, and I'm not lying when I say that the results from ONE overnight treatment are better than the cumulative results of four months of Olaplex treatments. My hair is very fine, blonde and naturally wavy. I'm 4 years out from the birth of my second child and feel like I am STILL recovering from the havoc that post-partum hair loss wreaked on my head, AND I've got my fair share of heat-styling breakage/damage as well. Certainly, Olaplex produced noticeable improvements in the 4 months I used it, but Pronexa has taken it to the next level. My hair is straight up GLOSSY. Smooth as silk, with none of the pesky flyaways and textural one offs that I've been living with for the past few years. I used it for the first time 3 nights ago. After washing and styling the next morning, my hair was markedly improved. But what's REALLY amazing is that the day after that? It was EVEN BETTER. And today? EVEN BETTERER! Seriously, it's like it penetrated the soul of my follicles and is STILL working its' magic, even a couple of days later. Seriously, I'm a convert. It's hard not to compare it to Olaplex, and truly, Olaplex is great. But Pronexa is better. Review: Soft - Photo on left was taken the day after a bleaching session and the photo on the right was taken a day after toning and using this product. It may not look that different but trust me, my hair feels so much better and manageable! My hair is always in dire need of repair because I always bleach/tone it and basically never leave it alone. After my most recent hair session, I realized that all my oils, serums, and masks were just not going to cut it this time. My hair needed something extra, like a keratin/protein treatment. My hair took forever to dry because some of the ends were gummy and brittle even after applying all my usual oils and serums. So I was going to bite the bullet and purchase some olaplex treatments, when I came across this product. The reviews seemed promising stating that it's comparable, if not better... so I decided to try it out. Although I'm a little disappointed at how small the bottle is, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works! I used as directed: Apply on damp hair, comb through, leave in for 15 minutes, rinse, shampoo and condition. I ran my hair through water, towel dried, and split my hair down the middle into two sides (left & right). I squeezed a quarter size amount into my hands and applied onto one side, very carefully combing through with my fingers, and then repeated on the other side. I clipped up my hair and waited 30 minutes before rinsing, then shampoo and conditioned. I still applied my usual serums for extra moisture/treatment. My hair dried so much faster and my ends didn't feel like a broomstick like it did the previously. Three days later, I used this product again repeating the same exact process. And the results were even better! My hair dried at a normal rate, and the main difference was how my hair felt after it was completely dry... it actually felt SOFT to the touch! I'm so impressed and can't wait to use it again. This truly improved the condition of my hair.

Dry, lifeless hair transformed!
I live in the country and unfortunately use well water which is murder on my long fine blonde hair. I had almost given up on it ever returning to its soft silkiness, especially because I hadn’t been able to visit my regular beautician for moisturizing treatments. After calling her in desperation, she suggested I try Hairgenics Pronexa. I figured it was worth a try, I certainly didn’t want to start cutting my own hair. I followed the instructions, adding putting my hair up under a plastic cap and wrapping it in a towel for 15 minutes just to give it a little bit of extra time to work. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but when I rinsed out my hair I was shocked at how easily my fingers ran through my hair without any extra leave in conditioner! It was amazing! And then even after I put my hair in a “turban” to absorb extra moisture, it still was easy to run a wide tooth comb through. I always let my hair air dry to protect it from heat so I use a dab of Argan oil for frizzies so I did the same but I noticed I didn’t seem to have nearly ass many as usual. I’m a believer. I definitely highly recommend this product. It made all the difference in my hair. Before: the mid length to ends felt Like straw...now they are sleek and soft. I’m sold. Try it. It’s well worth the price. Amazing product!

This is my second purchase.
Due to heat damage and probably relaxer over-processing my hair was severely damaged...frizzy ends with breakage. My stylist had suggested Olaplex for at-home use but I wasn’t getting the same results as she had in the salon. After searching here for a similar product and seeing all the good reviews-I decided to try it. I followed the instructions carefully and after the first try I was shocked. When I first started using this product- My hair was fixed...no frizzies, shinier and it looked healthy again. The only setbacks are the size and the price. For $25 bucks I need an 8oz. bottle. Just a side note there really is no scent to it-It’s very subtle but pleasant-not perfumy. However, I recently started to experience more breakage after using this product. I consciously I decided not to keep it on as long, maybe 20 minutes. Unfortunately I am now getting bad results: Breakage which creates frizzy hair. I will have to stop using for now to try and stop further damage. Proceed with caution. Follow directions and don’t leave on too long.
