Pretty good for a hobbiest, but...
Pretty good, but...I find this oscilloscope pretty good. For a hobbyist it could exceed his expectations. It complies with all the specs it's manufacturer says it has. But I find at least two main flaws:1. At timebase equal to 100msec/div or slower, the trigger only accepts the AUTO mode. You can't set it to NORMAL, as this option does not exist. Moreover, at this speed (or slower) the image is not fixed on the screen, but moving backwards all time, rather than staying fixed and refreshing once a second. I find this effect really unpleasant.2. And most important: The gain of both channels can't be setup separately. For instance, if CH1 setup is 2V/div., then CH2 setup will be also 2V/div. It is comfortable to setup channels gain with a simple gesture on the screen, but you must affect both channels at the same time and there is no individual menu for each channel to setup a gain individually. Of course, you can still play with 1X or 10X probes, but that is all. For instance, if you need to see signals input and output at the same time of an operational amplifier with 60dB gain, there is no way. This is really a main flaw. Any 50 years old, 2 CH oscilloscope could setup each channel gain individually. I think that this flaw cause is that the software was born for the previous product IMSO of only one channel, and in that case the gesture as the only way to setup channel gain worked perfectly. And with the IMSO2, the software was fixed with a "patch" and it is not native for a 2 CH oscilloscope.I see that the soft has not had any important update since 2015, except for minor "bug fixes". I really was expecting that these flaws were corrected soon, but it hasn't happened since I bought the product 2 years ago.If they were corrected, I would be a customer for another IMSO2 and I would gladly edit my review to qualify it with 5 stars..

Absolutely fantastic oscilloscope and fun to use!!!
This fantastic device turns any Apple iPhone 4S - 6, iPad thru iPad Air 2, or iPad mini into an oscilloscope/logic analyzer with 2 analog channels and 4 digital signals. I had an 555 timer connected to a decade Johnson counter, and I downloaded their app, hooked up the probes, turned everything on, and it worked immediately. So much fun!!! I wish I could work for them, but for now, for my purposes, it is spectacular!

Nice but be ready.
It a very well designed product. Just a couple of parameters to pay attention to. If you plan to use your old I-phone or I-pad as a permanent display it has limitations - it works only with I-phone 5S or later and I-pad 4th generation. If your phone is in a case - you will need an extension to accommodate the scope. A special support is necessary to keep I-phone+ extension + scope + connectors in line and close to signal sources. Digital channels do not take more than 7VDC, i.e. one will need to make voltage dividers. I guess it is meant for 5VDC TTL logic signals. Otherwise it is a nice tool.

Insanely Great This Peripheral Is!
Oscium does for test equipment what Apple does for personal computing... Makes the user experience insanely great! I was using the thing instantly WITHOUT having to read a manual. Now, since I am using this for my audiophile hobby, I imagined that could have spent half has much on a scope manufactured by our brothers in the far east. Then, I imagined that I would have spent hours decoding a cryptic manual and grokking a byzantine user interface, with concomitant tearing out of hair. Since I don't have any hair to tear out, it just wasn't an option. Splurge, spend twice as much, and enjoy the experience of something fun to use every time you fire it up... Just like your iDevice.
