Must have for amp repairs.
Saw Uncle Doug using this on YouTube and thought I should get this as I had an old Fender amp I was restoring. This is the tool to have for checking old electrolytic capacitors.

If you want an ESR meter this is a good one
I have been rebuilding old Marantz amps and this is a great tool in that process.

Works well. I ordered tweezers for making it easier to test on board components. Even without the tweezers, this esr meter is easy to use with an easy to read chart on the front.

J’ai hésité un bon moment avant de commander, car je trouvais dispendieux comparé à d’autres testeur, mais je ne regrette pas. Il fonctionne parfaitement, et c’est un des rare à pouvoir mesurer l’ESR avec une présence de tension, jusqu’à une certaine limit (pratique pour mesurer la résistance interne de batteries). Je m’en sert principalement pour tester des condensateurs, couplé à un multimètre pour tester aussi la capacité, c’est un outil parfait.

Naively thought I wouldn't have to pay duty on this product. That is the only down side in buying product from USA to Canada. Otherwise this is an excellent piece of test equipment.
