This works well as specified. I'm now able to utilize a surplus120mm Noctua PWM Fan that I had on hand and with this adapter use it as a cooler for my hot-running always-on cable box which has a USB port.

I got one to use a PC fan as a portable fan, this made that super easy. You can also easily use a USB A to USB C adapter, and run a fan off your phone battery. Kinda funny. It works great.

Average and works as it should. I’ve only had mine for a few weeks though and I’ve managed to pull the chord cover out of its holding.

I use this to power 1 or sometimes 2 140mm noctua fans with a splitter on my desk. Works great to repurpose pc fans or to test fans.

I have two fans; one hot wired into a 12v power supply, and one plugged into my computer via this USB cable. Both fans are blowing at the exact same speed. Buy with confidence. If I found this sooner, I could have saved about $40 on this endeavor (finding a way to blow air at the back of my TV, to cool it off.
