The book’s edges were crisp and clean, the face was not scratched, and it arrived promptly on time.
The book was well protected, I really appreciate how quickly the book shipped out and the excellent condition it arrived in. All in all, would buy again from this vendor.

Great series!
Loved these books as a teen and wanted to reread them. The font and size used in these are very easy for my dyslexia to handle.

awesome
This is such a wonderlicious book!! It messes with your emotion so much!!!!! First you find out Alex is going to join Scorpia then he tries to kill someone, after that he gets back with mi6 and tries to go back to Scorpia for more info. After that there is a crazy battle with Nile on a burning platform 1000 feet in the air, and to pile it higher he finds out that his dad didn't die on the bridge so you start hoping he is still alive just to find out that he died in a plane crash with his wife and he had been working for mi6 all along! It is crazy!

Book was used
This book was not new and not even excellent condition. Maybe I missed the fact that it was not new in the product details, but I would not have paid full price for a used book.

These stories just don't seem as interesting at 26
Now this may seem obvious - but at 27, these stories just don't seem to have a lot of depth to them. This is obviously because they're written for children/teenagers and not adults. However, there are books (the Harry Potter etc.) That can be read and enjoyed by all ages. The particular Alex Rider book has got some great plot points and some very interesting ideas. Also (without spoilers) the ending is an absolute cliffhanger that makes you want to carry on with the next book. Alex himself doesn't really have much of a personality and neither do many of the other characters despite cliché children's characters. But what more could I expect?

Recommended to the highest degree
I have read all Alex rider books in a week and their is nothing better than this to pass the time. If I met Alex in real life, I would most certainly go sneaking away feome a school trip in Italy with him. Anthony Horowitz has mixed action and humor in to 300 pages and that is not what you get from Charles Dickens. To become classics for sure.

Skyla's review of Scorpia by Anthony Horowitz
Alex Rider is a teenager spy. Who would of thought it, the once ordinary school boy, goes for his fifth mission this action packed book. It is were he finds out about his parents and the criminal organisation Scorpia. It's different to the first book because Alex Rider was just an ordinary boy sitting on his bed gloomily when his uncle Ian Rider dies. This book is were he is filled with lies from Scorpia as they drag him into their world. Mrs Jones is payed a visit from Alex, sent by Scorpia to KILL MRS JONES! But will he do it? He finds out the past about his parents. At the end Alex is hit by a strange bullet that lets him see his family!I felt there was more suspense and excitement in this book than in Stormbreaker, lots more cliffhangers at the end of chapters. Also he gets to go on a mission to a different country in Scorpia. This was quite a long book to read as it had 369 pages were Stormbreaker was only 240 pages. Some of the chapters were very long but it was worth it as it's a very good book. I like Scorpia more than Stormbreaker because Scorpia is more action packed and compelling. You want to keep reading to find out what happens.

Super book "Scorpia"
This book was amazing. I think Scorpia and Stormbreaker are my favourite books out of the Alex Rider collection. Alex finds out a shocking secret about his father. Alex follows the instructions from Yassen and soon finds himself tangled up with Scorpia and their evil plan. He is ordered to kill a young woman from MI6, who he knows very well! Alex also finds himself stuck between two secret companies, the good and the bad! There is so much action and this book is very entertaining and gripping.I recommend it to 10-16years and rate it 9/10!This is a great story that's well structured! U should definitely buy this book!

Great twist to the plot... and the ending!
You'd have thought Anthony Horowitz would have run out of steam by this book, but he just keeps powering through the series with nothing stopping him!I loved the action throughout the book, and the ending (I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it yet) brings a huge twist - a sort of 'will he or won't he (what would go here would spoil the plot, so I'm not telling)' twist.A must read
