EnvironMolds LayTex Liquid Latex Mold Making Rubber, 1-Gallon

I don't have experience with any other liquid latex, but this worked just fine. The only suggestion I have is to package the product in a container with a wider mouth where you can easily insert a brush to retrieve the final amount. I pour out what I need into a container to easily use a brush, but when contents no longer pour out, there is still a LOT of good latex left with no way of getting out other than cutting the container, which is what I did.

Seems good, as used before, but cannot fully evaluate it yet, but it sure sticks to anything and everything, and where else os it available for a decent price??

I tried this latex because it's a bit cheaper by quantity than my normal brand, but as I discovered unfortunately (and not surprisingly) there's a reason for that. First off this is THE WORST smelling latex I've ever been around in my life, and I've been around both industrial and "hobbyist" latex brands. I don't know what additive they put in it but it is far worse than ammonia. More importantly it's performance is sub par. I used the same amount of coats on a statue with this latex as I would with my regular stuff and this latex failed miserably. When attempting to remove my statue model from the mold I made using this latex it immediately and permanently stretched out of shape and actually ripped in some spots, wasting several days of my time. To put it clearly for you latex newcomers looking at this review that shouldn't happen, when applied properly good latex should peel off of your model like a glove, stretching when need be and immediately resuming it's shape like a rubber band with no evidence of damage. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars on a reputable, quality latex.

This rubber is the bees knees yo. Goes on easy with a creamy consistency. Not too much ammonia odor which is clutch.Top notch
