Excellent replacement for my old worn out ear cup pads on my Technics headphones. even came with a little Uspudger tool but I didn't need it to get them installed.

TL;DR: I just fixed my $250 headphones to be good as new, for $8. I am very happy.I've been using the Technics RP-DH1200 (or 1210, or 1250, or other variants) for nearly a decade now. They are my favorite headphones. The only complaint I have is that the stock ear pads disintegrate. I am a programmer and I wear then 40+ hours a week, easily. Most pairs last 1-2 years. I've searched for ear pad replacements before but never found them. Dunno if I didn't look hard enough, or what, but this time I fortunately found these and thought I'd give it a try. Putting them on was pretty easy (google for a video to see how it is done), and they feel a lot like new ones (I think, it was 2 years ago). They feel very different from my old worn out ones, they are less condensed and the headphones cup my ears better (like I think I remember the new pads doing...).They don't seem to be identical material, but they feel similar enough for me. Maybe the material is better and will last longer? Time will tell. Either way I'm going to order a pile of these so I can have them effectively forever, until my headphones disintigrate from old age, and I'm going to pull out my 2-3 older pairs and renew them as well!

These ear pads are great! They are made of top quality materials and fit perfectly. The seller also includes a special tool to help with the installation. These pads are more robust than the original. Also, the price point makes these pads a great value. I highly recommend this seller and these ear pads.

I almost spent good money picking up a new pair of headphones when i realized i really only needed to replace the flaking old ear pads. Once I received the new earpads, it only took a couple minutes to remove the old pads and put on the new ones. The new pads work great. install was a breeze and didn't have to use the accompanying tool and cloth. I am very happy with the purchase.

I believe the padding is a slightly thicker and stiffer than I remember the original Sony MDR-V700 being, but I could be wrong because that was something like 12 years ago and the original pads are flat by now. I haven't used them much yet, but the materials appear to be decent quality. Material covering the padding feels as thick as the original, but slightly less durable. Considering that I don't expect the original headband to last more than another year or two, these work. Nice packaging from Geekria, also came with a spudger tool that helps at the end of putting the pads on.

I got these as replacement pads for my 7+ year old Technics RP-DH1200s when the original pads started to deteriorate and flake off chunks of vinyl. These came nicely packaged in a small tube. I don't recall seeing any instructions included, but it was pretty self-explanatory. I pulled the old pads off, centered the new pads over the ear phones, and used the included tool to push the excess material into the crevice around each ear piece. The whole process took about 5-6 minutes. My favorite headphones are now good as new. No change at all in sound quality or feel.
