Q: Says 10 year guarantee on the box and 2 year above......

I don't know about a guarantee but the items do not work! They produce large chunks of salt and pepper no matter how you adjust them. If they are adjusted for smaller grains the milling mechanism just siezes and fails to turn

Don't think this is a good idea. When you press the button the grinder is automatically activated so your fine salt would be crushed still finer or fail to engage with the mechanism.

I’ve just measured mine & I’d say it’s 5.5cm across. When I bought mine they suggested a tray to buy with it, so I did. It’s a decent size and a nice material. It’s not a snug fit but I think that’s best. Hope this helps

Q: What is the capacity of salt and pepper in the grinders?

I'm not entirely sure of the capacity, though I do know it's at least 100% bigger than 2 previous grinders I've purchased (though overall grinder size is comparable). I'd estimate at least 2 heaped tablespoonsful.
