Excellent Product – Exactly What I Needed
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product – Exactly What I Needed I purchased the eMACROS Solar Wireless Driveway Alarm after experiencing three vehicle break-ins over the past two years, and I needed something reliable to add another layer of security. About two months after installing this system, someone attempted to break into my vehicle again — and this time, the alarm immediately went off. I truly believe that the sound deterred them and stopped the break-in before it could happen. The alert was loud, clear, and gave me instant awareness that someone was on my property. This alarm works perfectly alongside my existing security setup, and together they make an excellent combination for deterring vehicle break-ins. The solar feature, wireless setup, and reliability make this system exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants an effective, affordable, and easy-to-use driveway or perimeter alarm. It gives real peace of mind.

Peace of Mind
Purchased this item for peace of mind. My driveway is about 1000 feet long and through a wooded area so knowing when someone enters the property is a necessity. I was a bit skeptical at first, but this unit performs flawlessly. I installed one sensor at the gate and another halfway up the drive in order to rule out triggering by the many deer on the property. If you need to know when someone arrives this unit will do the trick. Super easy to install and set up.

Works perfectly so far/ about 700 ft thru the forest to the house
This may not be the least expensive driveway alert system, but it does work well (so far). I installed it about a month ago. In the woods, where my driveway winds through. The leaves are gone, now that it is winter, so there is sunlight. I charged it up via the USB charger before installing it. That is something that is not clear in the description: You can (and probably should) fully charge it before installing outside. It can be charged like any other electrical device that charges via a USB port. Supposedly, even if there is no sunlight available to charge the battery, it will stay operational for many months if you first charge it via USB. The car detection works fine. A few other things get detected -- such as deer (I assume, since I really can't see what is being detected). But the non-car detections have been few. Set-up is easy. You have about 30 alert sounds to choose from, and you have to pick one. You can scroll through them to hear each one before picking. You can change it to use another sound at any time later. The sounds that are provided are a bit limited, and some people will be dissatisfied with the options. I do not like the "ding-dong" doorbell sound -- because it is too confusing to have to distinguish it from my normal doorbell. So, this option is sort of ridiculous in my opinion, when most doorbells have the "ding-dong" sound. There is no simple "buzzer" sound -- which my previous alert had used. I have no need for the "back door", "side yard", etc. pronouncements (which are only useful if you set up multiple detectors.) I just wanted a sound that I could definitely identify as "car driving up my driveway". There are only a few options available, once the stupid ones are eliminated. I picked the "Adams Family" theme song -- which just plays a few bars. It's fine for my purposes. So, this alert system works well, and I can't yet say how well the solar charging works. My down-grading to 4 stars is only because of the limited number of good sound-alert options available. The ability to send signal through the forest is perfectly good at 700 ft (or, it may be more ft).

Definitely works
We are very happy with this alarm. Living in a rural area with few neighbor it is good to know when someone is approaching our home. This system is dependable and even let us know when the raccoons got into the feed bag. (We [he] forgot to close the garage door. ) I purchased another one for the system to place at an outbuilding. Their service department is dependable and fast..

"My experiences"
I bought a set of 3 motion detectors and 1 receiving station - (and “later” an additional motion detector) - because I was dissatisfied with “previous” motion detectors (which I bought -– from the hardware store - for a price of – approximately - 10 dollar). When „testing“ the „set of 3 motion detectors (And „later“ I bought an additional motion detector) - I made a "big" mistake - because I didn't immediately watch the video about „pairing“ (= Connecting the motion detectors with receiving station). The motion detectors „from the set“ were already connected „(paired“) to the receiving unit – by „seller“. For „connecting“ the additional motion detector with receiving station - you must follow the seller's instructions from the video. The "connecting" (= „PAIRING“) worked differently "here" - than I suspected at the "beginning" of my test (So - when I didn't see the video yet). I have at home (from another seller) a „humidity receiver unit“ und 5 „humidity sensors“ – which are „paired“ with 433 Mhz - too. If I restart my „humidity receiver unit“ - then it "automatically" searches for the humidity sensors. I “mistakenly” assumed that the „motion detector receiving unit“ - “automatically” searches for the motion detectors (“after a restart” of receiving unit). However, you must (especially if you buy an additional motion detector) "follow" the "instructions" in the video - because otherwise the motion detector cannot be connected to the receiving station. That's why I suspected - that the motion detector wasn't working (or is not „compatible“). Luckily, the seller helped me quickly with this matter - via email. Here was the solution to my „problem“: I pressed the button for a long time - until all the indicator lights start flashing. The “additional” motion detector must first be switched off. If all the control lights on the receiving unit flash - then you have to select the "wanted" channel. And only then is the (additional) motion detector “connected” to the receiving station. It was of course my "fault" - that I didn't watch the video immediately. So far - (as mentioned above) I have often bought motion detectors ("without radio waves") in hardware stores. And here are my “previous” experiences - with these detectors from hardware stores: I have (in the past) already tested a few ("rather" very cheap = approx. 10 dollars each) motion detectors "without radio transmission" ("from the DIY store") in the "outdoor area". And unfortunately (very many) - especially cheap - "infra-red motion detectors" often had difficulties working "properly". Either no alarm was reported - even though a car or a person was moving in front of the motion detector. Or too many "completely wrong" alarms were reported - i.e. "nothing" moved in front of the sensor, etc.... So I was very nicely surprised - when I "finally" bought an infrared motion detector set from „this“ seller - which ("roughly estimated") - works for me 95% to 99% - really "correctly". Of course I made sure - that there are no branches of trees (Or something "similar") - in the "sensor detection range" - because ("probably") - even with this motion detector - the danger could increase - that error alarms will appear. So far - it is the "best" infrared motion detector (At a rather „reasonable price“) for me - which I have tried in the "outdoor area". P.S.: There is also a receiving unit - which works with 4 AA batteries (or mains connection = POWER SUPPLY: AC 120 Volt/DC 5 Volt. Or you buy a receiving unit - which you “only” operate with a mains connection (=POWER SUPPLY: AC 120 Volt/DC 5 Volt). Personally, I always connect a ("charged") power bank when I want to "test" the receiving station outdoors. Because the seller reacted so "quickly" to my "problem" - I decided - to "design" my "FEEDBACK" a little more detailed.

Brilliant! They are very easy to set up and definitely give peace-of-mind
Charge them before use with usb-c and then it's super easy to set them up. The hockey puck/base station is installed inside wherever you want to hear the alarm(s). Pay attention to how they are angled (the manual is exemplary: concise and accurate). It's a absolute miracle the range on these, glad I bought them. Thinking about buying more! With 38 sounds/chimes to choose, you can do a lot of customization. They seem to be of solid workmanship and feel like a quality product.

Work well, but setup issues
I've had these alarms up for 2 weeks and so far they are doing their job and seem to be holding up to winter weather. I had pairing issues when initially setting the sensors up with the base. It took some trial and error to get the chimes I assigned for each alarm to stay permanently. I would pair a sensor and move on to a second only to have the first sensor assigned chime change on its own and I had to start again. This happened several times and I could not remedy it. I did a work around and got the chimes how I wanted them. I mounted the sensors and they worked for several days, then the chimes changed again on their own. Not sure why. Then out of the blue, they went back to what I had assigned. Pretty annoying. Other than that, things are working as they should. One note I would make is the base does not have a battery backup and only works when plugged into an outlet. These alarms do not seem to have the capacity to work when there is a power outtage. I consider that a negative. The range seems pretty good. My furthest sensor is 200 yards from the base and senses well. I think these alarms will work well as long as they dont get water inside like other models I have used. Those didn't last, so hopefully the better design of these Emacros will be more effective.
